- First, I'm wondering how to enable mob events. the code looks like this:
##########################################################################################################
# events enabled
#--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------#
# Here each event can be turned on or off (true or false).
##########################################################################################################
"events enabled" {
}
So do I just change the bottom part to look like this instead?
"events enabled" {true
}
- Second, imo the Shades & Chupacabras are crazy fast, I'm looking at the movement speeds, and there are two. One says:
# Movement speed. Average speed is 28
I:"Chupacabra Speed"=0
While the other says:
# Movement speed.
D:"Chupacabra Speed"=1.0
Which one do I change to make them move a little slower? I was thinking of chancing the "1.0" speed to something like "0.8", would that do the trick? I guess I'm confused because the top one says that the average is 28, but the number is 0, so I'm not sure how to interact with that one.
- Last question: If I want the shadow mobs to NOT appear in the End, do I change the code to look like this?
What does the "Vanilla mob spawning" config option exactly do? I still can't quite understand the explanation of it in the config. What happened if I enable or disable it?
Picture if you would a location in your world where zombies spawn as normal, but instead of skeletons you get windingos, and instead of spiders you get the frostweavers.
I just played a test run of my pack where I had that happen, I just happened to build a base there.
That is what the vanilla mob spawning true does. With it false you get the normal mobs AND the lycanites.
is 1.7, 1.8, or 1.9 the largest newest version? (As in are the 1.8 or 1.9 missing stuff that 1.7 has.)

I'm playing on the latest 1.7.10 version and can't find a way to disable mob griefing in the config files. Is there a way to stop certain creatures from destroying blocks without using the mob griefing command?
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an appropriate answer on google.
I really want to have tamed Chupacabra and Pinkys, but the site says that you need baby ones to tame? I've been playing with this mod since 1.7.10 and I have NEVER seen a baby Chupacabra (and I've met probably thousands of adult ones). Is there some trick to finding one?

I don't know about chupacabras, but pinkies have to be bread to get a baby -- have you tried catching a couple of them and feeding them?
Oh, is that it? So you don't start out giving them treats. First you have to breed two adult ones? Ok, I'll try that. I'm assuming they eat meat?
I've never tried breeding chupacabras, so just a guess -- I'd try meat and that doesn't do it then live animals (live animals works for pinkies). Unless someone else has bred them and wants to share.
Yeah, I checked the website and it says live animals. Damn, that seems near impossible. At least for my teeny brain; I'm sure some YTer could come up with an elaborate contraption that auto-feeds cows to Chupacabras underground and farms them or something.

I have a question. How the heck do you nerf frostfire? It's not so bad if you're just passing through an area but man, if you LIVE in one, it goes nuts. Arix specifically create chaos. The stuff never goes away. It never burns out. I attempted this command...
/gamerule doFireTick false
Then figured maybe I misunderstood and tried
/gamerule doFireTick true
and neither worked. And yes, I set the following in the config.
B:"Remove Frostfire on No Fire Tick"=true
and still nothing.
I even set the following parameters.
B:"Enable Icefire"=false
B:"Enable Frostfire"=false
and it STILL occurs.
I finally just disabled the mob, which I don't want to do. Ideas?

I haven't had a problem with that so far. I do have a question, though. Is there a way to change the base chance that a geonach or ent will spawn when mining resources? I feel like they're spawning too often. Would that be spawn weight in the configs?
Hey, a couple of questions concerning configs.
- First, I'm wondering how to enable mob events. the code looks like this:

- Last question: If I want the shadow mobs to NOT appear in the End, do I change the code to look like this?
"group settings" {
S:"Shadow Mobs Spawn Biomes"=ALL
S:"Shadow Mobs Spawn Dimensions"=1,-1
# If true, the 'Spawn Dimensions' list will act as a whitelist instead of a blacklist.
B:"Shadow Mobs Spawn Dimensions Whitelist Mode"=false
}
So many mods, so little time.

Oh, and to go with my earlier complaint that lycanites crashes servers if the mob spawns are canceled...

Yeah there are servers with this mod, you just have to look for them. I run a couple myself, but their gregtech balanced packs

could you please add a bestiary with all mobs items and mod mechanics
we need port 1.15.1.5 under 1.7.10

You really don't want to disable mobs, because when the next event comes, it'll still try to spawn that mob, and the game will crash.
I haven't had a problem with that so far. I do have a question, though. Is there a way to change the base chance that a geonach or ent will spawn when mining resources? I feel like they're spawning too often. Would that be spawn weight in the configs?
1.11.2 and 1.12 would be awesome
yes, there is places to turn off events. (I'll edit this to copy paste it in latter)
as for ye olde rock monsters, it's in there somewhere, but I can't recall what it's called, I'll edit this if I find it latter
I'd appreciate that greatly. I won't have a chance to hunt for it myself until Friday, since I work 12s in a factory sun-thurs.
