Hey i have a problem. i did what you said but when i'm putting the .jar file in the mod folder and then i try to start my minecraft, it doesn't open . i click play , the launcher vanished and no minecraft is opening. Can you help me please ?
You'll need to post an error log before anyone can help you. Put it between [spoiler] [/ spoiler] so it doesn't stretch the page (just remove the space).
As far as I know, my videocard fps isn't locked and it's a AMD Radeon 7970. Vsync locks it to 60, but I assume you know that.
The error log is showing incompatibilities with the whole shaderpack files (like your hardware can't run any part of it). It also mentioned to use a dummy shader instead (dummy shader????). The only thing I think dummy shaders are is the 1.7 shaders.
Now, I assume you installed the shaders core mod and put this in the shaderpack folder, not the resourcepack.
This set of Shaders it hands down the very best I have ever had or used and I have tried them all... No lag, super fluid, colors are great, and no excessive flare... This is the very best to date so congratulations on your fine work... BTW, your water is perfectly seemless and that is a first this is the best water out there... Only thing I wish was that at sunset and night it wasn't so dark... With no torches lit looking out into nighttime darkness is jet black... Is there a way I can lessen the shader effects for night, dusk, and dawn...? Just curious.

Also, how do I get both Forge and Optifine in the same profile? I imagine that can help?
You need to downgrade your drivers to version 320 WHQL or version 306.
Allocate four gigs at most. Sixteen is usually not needed and sometimes, your GPU's RAM is used instead of system RAM,

Those drivers aren't supported by GTX 700 series hardware. You sure this will help?
Hello I have been running into a problem with your awesome shaderpack involving my graphics card. I have an amd radeon 6800 series and I can run almost anything with it, although when I switch to this shaderpack in game my screen freezes then minecraft crashes with my windows 7 leaving me with a message that the graphics have been recovered. Is this a common bug or is it one of my own problems?
Hello, your shaders work flawless on my Intel 4000 Graphics Card but theres one thing that makes my mind boggle.... http://imgur.com/yUjCfMm,1baMfTk#0
i tried disable lens flare but it doesn't work ;/

That a lie. To prove it, I just went to the Nvidia website and found the
320.49 WHQL drivers for you (took literally 30 seconds, lol). http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
Press search and look for version 320.49 that has a WHQL mini-text thingy on the right of it. Don't get the beta. But I do realize that your 780 doesn't support version 306.]
Edit: Wait, when you click the link, select GeForce, Geforce 700 series, and select 780 as the product (do not select the 780 ti). I assume you're on windows.
Ah, okay! found it!
WOWOMG! BIG improvement JUST LIKE THAT!
Highest settings,
+ Full Vibrant shader,
+ 256x256 textures
...and i'm getting around 50fps!! (so far topped at 62)
Big thanks for helping me out!
Edit:
WEEELLLLLL....
Now my computer keeps crashing! (im on my old one now) A random solid colored screen will appear seconds after logging on, then go to black, and all i/o peripherals go unresponsive. -The computer will eventually shut off. I tweaked in bios and safe mode, and is still happening! Why me!?
Edit again:
Just managed to restore from safe mode and is working again! NEVER DOWNGRADING AGAIN!

Having the same issue. It can be stopped by moving my mouse around, but it comes back every couple minutes or so. Otherwise, great work, shader looks amazing.

Yeah, same thing happened to me when I tried to downgrade. Downgrading can be very buggy.
I'm guessing that's because you have only one driver installed in your system.
I've already had the old 12.X driver, two 13.11 betas, and a 14.1 which I had to downgrade from.

There is a hotfix for the 14.1 Minecraft bug. I've already tried it, and it does work.
Ah, but remember, GPU incompatibilities cause this as well.
You don't see this on Karyonix's bump map shaders, do you?

When I run Sildur's Basic Shaders, I get this...
In my earlier post, I accidentally clicked on the laggless shaders, so yeah.(Oops...)
Any help would be appreciated!

Are your driver versions for AMD at 13.11?
Try to delete gbuffers_terrain.fsh/.vsh in the basic shaders...
