Hmm maybe, you might want to join one of the discord servers linked in my signature, maybe someone on there knows more. There are a few linux users on shaderslab.

I was looking around in the code, and noticed Enhanced Default deliberately disables reflections when you're underwater. Why is this? I removed the line, and everything seems to be working fine, underwater reflections and all.

Despite the fact that silders shaders is the best shader I could try, I always had a problem at night or in caves or nether.
I play with the texture pack bdcraft, 1.12.2 for testing, latest version of optifine and high shaders.

At night, the water is very very transparent and becomes almost invisible, here are some examples without shaders and with:

Water becomes almost impossible to see by mining, which is not great.
Is there a setting to change so you can change things to make this water more visible?

I also find that the light emitted by the torches or the glowstone is a little too limited, too yellow, and much too bright.

Is there a setting I could apply to keep things a little bit chilly?

Screen space reflections look a bit weird while underwater, that's why they're disabled.

Water transparency is a known issue, enabling the water texture helps a bit. Emissive light can also be adjusted in the ingame shader options.

shader options - normal map - water texture: off -> on.

I've been having this issue while playing in 1.7.10, whenever I look at mobs with leads on them. Nowhere else. I'd like to fix it but it's not unbearable to live with. Stays for a few seconds then goes away. Any fixes? Using v1.163

note: The errors are from me quickly switching to SEUS to see if that helps, but it freaked out and made everything green and white. The red image is from using a 1.12.1 version in 1.7.10 and the orangish one is from using v1.163. Thank you!

Any reason as to why you're still on v1.163? Even v1.20 works with 1.7.10, just make sure to use optifine with it's inbuild shadersmod. Leads in general are kinda broken, so not sure if this can be fixed.

Ah okay! I haven't touched Minecraft in quite a while so I must've missed it. Thank you so much for the help! Even if it's not fixable that's fine, I rarely use leads and this is too good of a shaderpack to disable

Hey Sildur, I'm curious about how the color boost function in the vibrant shaders works. I normally used 'low' because putting color boost on 'strong' would wash out brighter colors (like a sunset hitting a birch plank).

I recently upgraded to a 10 bit monitor, so I'm wondering if color boost on 'strong' would make more sense now.

Also, would you ever consider looking into a full HDR mode?

Which versions of Vibrant work with which MC/Optifine versions? 1.162 works, but 1.20 is missing things like waving leaves and water effects. I'm using Minecraft 1.10 with Forge and Optifine 1.10.2_HD_U_D1. I'd like to upgrade your Vibrant shader as far as I can go without removing features like this.

All versions work with 1.7.10 - 1.13.2, some have different features and some things were removed, see changelog on the main page for more details.

For some reason, no matter what version I use (even lite) this cripples my fps. I have a 1070, 6600k.

The front page has screenshots using 1.20 with water effects, so I don't think this is a version-specific thing. This is what I see when using anything more recent than 1.66. I've thoroughly gone through the options menu and I'm fairly certain I'm not missing any settings. I am also 100% certain all the 'waving objects' settings are on, and they are not working either.

Edit: Updating Optifine fixed the water, and some waving objects: lava, doublegrass, lilypads, vines, saplings, flowers, carrots, and potatoes. Leaves, 1-block grass, wheat and potatoes beets still do not wave.

I've been having an issue when I open a gui of any kind (inventory, enchanting table, etc) the game freezes. it still plays (I can walk around and interact with objects), but the screen doesn't move.

I'm playing on 1.13.2, using the lite version of vibrant shaders.i've tried updating optifine, redownloading the shaders, allocating more ram to the game, and jiggling the settings around.

does anyone have any advice?

Minecraft still runs it's rendering tasks on a single core, I'm running a 1070 ti and it's bottlenecking hard because of my cpu. Also many entities nearby cause a huge performance drop.

Is everything turned on in the ingame shader options? Some mods may break the waving stuff. It should work if optifine is fully up to date. (try the preview versions)

Try updating your gpu driver.

I'm having an issue where water behind glass is very opaque. Is this supposed to happen? Is it a bug? Can I fix it somehow?
