But at Night its so bright!
Fixed. Version 1.0 of basic shaders released (found in the main post). Compatibility could be improved a bit more.
- Sand is less ugly now.
- no more glowing water.
- added Aether 2 support. (in gbuffers_terrain.vsh)
Hello, wanted to start by saying "great work", you have a nice shader here. I'm not sure if this has been reported (it's too late here for me to read the whole thread), but at least my enchanted sword is showing a weird transparency.

I got the Forge, the Coremod downloaded without any problem, and no game crash happens. But when I go into game, open a new world, and go in Options >Shaders> and click on your shaderpack, nothing changes. I tried this with many different shaderpacks, and still the problem was the same. Please help me! I will put my comp specs below.

Trying to use the Pre 5 versions and I get the black screen with white crosshairs bug. Tried looking up a solution and couldnt find one.
Running 1.4.6 with latest forge
660 ti with 3570k
Doesn't work on 1.4.6. Maybe on 1.5.2 with a buggy preview from Karyonix. But the new shaders require the new features which were fully added in GLSL 1.6.2. You see the problem?
Yeah, the problem with the sun and moon... I think almost everyone with AMD graphic cards have this problem... Almost every shader has little bug from incompatibility with AMD...
Um... weird problems here.
Whenever I load the world with any of your shaders I see nothing but entities (e.g. mobs, paintings/item frames).
EDIT: This happens with the Basic Shaders. I have not tried the Vibrant Shaders yet.
EDIT 2: The Sildurs Vibrant shaders Pre5 max+cel shading just lagged out and hanged my laptop. Gonna try the Sildurs Vibrant shaders Pre5 and Sildurs Vibrant shaders Pre5 max.
EDIT 3: They ALL LAGGGG OUT MY COMPUTER. HAS TO SHUT DOWN AND RESTART 3 TIMES!!! These Basic Shaders are my last hope. SOS

Well, considering, you have a mac laptop. A.k.a not known to run shaders.
Second just a simple bug report, When using the Vibrant Shaders Pre5 max version, the objects/items in my hand are transparent?!

Could be from the mod itself, maybe wrong installed.
GLSL is still in beta, there will be bugs like Karyonix said.

This is not a mod, it's a shaderpack so if GLSL mod is out for 1.6.4 then yes it does.
