Keep getting this (See Screenshot) - Timing of it is variable though, sometimes it is immediate and others I can go 20 to 30 minutes of game play without an issue.
Running on a AMD Ryzen 2700X - 32gbs - AMD Vega 64 (Driver: 19.4.1) - installed on an SSD with Windows 10.
Would really like to how to stop it since this shader pack is the *only* reason I play Minecraft, I know it sounds like exaggeration but I can no longer play vanilla MC because of it (So take it as a compliment).
I'm not sure how I can address this visual bug (that's if it is in the first place) but basically, the water reflections in your Enhanced Default shader pack detects almost everything that's displayed on my screen, like my viewmodel or even faraway mobs. Could you explain why this is happening?
P.S. I love your Enhanced Default shader pack to death. It's well-optimised and performs beautifully with modpacks. Keep up the good work!
I'm using vibrant shaders 1.20 medium with TerraFirmaCraft and everytime i ride a horse, every once in a while the screen gets very dark with a red tint to it, it also happens every time i open inventory while on a horse or every time i look at a horse attached to a lead. it doesnt show in the screenshots for some reason, only the gui is red
Horse leads and such cause some known issues, your mods might break it further. Might want to try enhanced default instead, it works better with mods.
Same as below, known issue, only happens on vega cards, newer amd opengl drivers broke alot of stuff, I fixed most of it. Not sure what's going on with those vega cards though.

This may be a stupid question, but does Minecraft version matter for these shaders? I want to use the Enhanced Default but I'm on 1.12.2. I tried to switch to them, but my game froze. I let it sit for 5 minutes or so (because enabling shaders takes a while) until it greyed out, at which point I force closed it. Restarting Minecraft gave me an error and I had to restart again. Upon my second restart, no shaders were applied. I'll do some more troubleshooting tomorrow, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't making a dumb mistake and using shaders for the wrong version of MC. xD

My shaders work with 1.7.10 - 1.13.2, just make sure to use optifine with it's inbuild shadersmod, and make sure it's up to date. Also updating gpu drivers can solve alot of issues. Selecting shaders in the main menu of minecraft should be faster compared to doing it ingame.
Thank you for the fast response! Having tested it again this morning, the issue must be with something other than your shaders. Thank you for the wonderful mod!
I am afraid I am simply blind, but I can't find a list or screenshots showing the differences between High and Extreme versions of your Vibrant Shaders. I've been testing around a bit, but the only differences I spotted are increased shadow resolution and the resulting fps drop going from High to Extreme. Could you please provide an overview of the differences between High and Extreme?

Extreme has various quality improvements to clouds, reflections and such. It also has ambient occlusion on by default.
I have decent framerate on my desktop which uses a 980 SC card but at the moment I am out of state visiting the grandkids who are huge Minecraft nuts.. I use my ASUS gaming laptop which had a 660m video card. I would love to use some aspects of the shader pack but the framerate drops significantly no matter what I turn off. I would love to have the volumetric clouds and some of the waving items. Do the clouds have that huge of an impact on FPS or is there something else that is causing the hit? I have tried to turn off everything but those items and still not helping. Normally I am getting 80 FPS even using a Resource pack but it lowers to 30 fps with the lite version of the shaders enabled. Any chance of ripping anything out but the volumetric clouds and the waving items with a super lite version or do you think the clouds are having the impact?

Clouds don't have much off an impact on performance. If the game runs that slow you might want to checkout enhanced default. Maybe those laptops also run into cpu bottlenecks.
I’ve been running shaders with the twilight forest mod. It seems that the shader isn’t sure how to treat the dimension, and sometimes interpretates it as somewhere during the day and sonetimes during the night.
Could it be possible somehow to disable shader usage for certain dimension ID’s? The End dimension is excluded with shaders as far as I can tell. Maybe something similair could be configurated for dimension 7? (default ID the twilight forest uses)
Or to make it perhaps treat the dimension as the overworld’s shaders but in a perpetual state of midnight?

Yeah, just create an empty folder with the dimension ID inside the shaderpack zip file. (See End folder)
Hey Sildur, any chance there could be waving support for the seagrass and kelp? Just what the ocean needs (especially if you use static textures like myself).
As well I like to cut the red down to 0.5, but that leaves the cloud shading a bit relatively dark for my taste... where about would I edit to brighten those up?

I didn't do waving support for underwater plants because of the animated textures.. but I might check it out. Everything clouds related is in composite1.fsh in it's own function.
Can you add path tracing or something? Like in those new Minecraft books from Mojang? Those shaders shown in the book look really nice! I would love to use them if they exist. May you can make this kind of shader for low-end graphics! I sure hope so!
I downloaded the enhanced shaders and used it for 1.8. It looks good and probably is the only shader I can use atm but cel-shading only works on the nether. Is there a fix for this?

Cel shading should work in the overworld too, unless there's another gpu driver bug going on.
any chance someone could help me with this issue?

I'm having that same exact problem as well, same card and drivers as well, hope this can be fixed so I can enjoy this shader even more.
Edit: Oops, I thought this would have replied to the person above me, sorry!

Currently not possible without editing code directly. You can disable parallax water waves though.

Can you add Rain reflection quality settings and specular support? by the way, these shaders are just amazing! keep up the good work!
