I've been using your shaders, Sildur (which are sick, btw), and really like the look of the pack. But, I wanted to change the light emitted by torches from that orange to a basic, white light. I was half-successful; the torches emit white light, but all entities and transparent blocks are still that orange color. Do you know which specific vec3 values in the composite files modify this ambient value?
Thanks in advance.
You have to change the lighting color in gbuffers_textured.vsh and gbuffers_block.vsh aswell. (line 54 in both)
Well, perhaps I spoke too soon. As it turns out, the entities and stuff are fine, but my white stained glass is still orange. Which .vsh file dictates lighting on those blocks?

my bad, gbuffers_water.vsh line 110 needs to be changed aswell.
This is the dithering used for volumetric lighting, it could be improved but it would hit performance quite abit. It's more visual on macs I think due to an issue with texture2DLod, which is used to make it more smooth. But this function doesn't work that well on macs thanks to their crappy drivers.
It seems the download links for 1.164 are not currently working. I've tried on multiple browsers, and ensured neither had any adblocking as recommended. Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

i'm using r3d craft with the POM and PBR packs but when i enable ambient occusion there's a huuuuuge lag spike, taking me down tto 1 fps. anything that can fix this? it wasnt happening before. gtx 1060 6g, 8g ram allocated.

Hmm, are you using any mods? If not, your driver might does some weird things while compiling, I don't have a pascal card to test it myself.
You could try a clean installation of your gpu drivers using display driver uninstaller (DDU).
I have a problem with colors during the day, every few minutes the color palette switches to something else, sunrises and sunsets are very red. The sun is just a black spot. Everything is fine as soon as the sun goes down or when I go somewhere the sun doesnt shine (underground).
This happens only with your "vibrant" shaders, enhanced default and the other ones work fine.
macOS Sierra 10.12.6
GeForce GTX 760 2047MB
openGL seems to be 2.1
MC 1.7.10, OptiFine HD U E3, Forge 10.13.4.1614
This is an issue with the mac drivers for nvidia cards. It was fixed in driver 378.10.10.10.20.107. I think you've to update your macOS to use that one, it came with Sierra 10.13.1.
Since vibrant shaders v1.17 is taking for ever, I decided to downport it's water to the current version. So vibrant shaders v1.165 is out now!
Changelog:
- Downported water from upcoming v1.17
- Added ingame option water height found in parallax option screen.
- Added ingame option water texture, it blends your resourcepack texture with the water color, so it might not be that visible.
Hey, I love these shaders but when I use the basic shaders the grass doesn't wave even though I turned it on.
Do you get any error messages in chat after selecting the basic shaders? You might want to try enhanced default instead, you can turn off the shadows (and other things)using the ingame options, if you dislike them.

I don't get an error message, it just doesn't wave. I use Optifine HD I3 Ultra 1.8.9, so maybe this version is the problem. The vibrant shaders had the grass waving though, so it might not be the version. I also use a mac, so maybe that option doesn't work for some reason.

That did it! Thanks again!
That looks like the "Enhanced Default" shader pack, available also in this thread.
