Minor Update! Alpha v2.0.2! Just some new textures have fun

General Information This mod will add:
- Lot of abilities
- An huge amount of items
- Active and passive effects
- New player HP system
- Mana and other stats
This mod wont add:
- Creeps/minions, towers, radiants/nexuses etc..
- Money to buy items (you have to find them in chests or you get them by trading)
- An exact copy of the item XXX from the game YYY (If you want this instead, check out this mod)
Player Stats
All base stats a player has at the beginning. Each stat is improvable by having items.
HP (Base: 300)
Max HP (Base: 300 HP | + 20 HP / Level)
HP Regeneration (Base: +3 HP / 5 Seconds)
Mana (Base: 0)
Max Mana (Base: 100)
Mana Regeneration (Base: 0 HP / 5 Seconds)
Armor (Base: 0)
Magic Resistance (Base: 0)
Tenacity (Base: 0)
Attack Damage (Base: 15 | + 2 Attack Damage / Level)
Attack Speed (Base: 0.5 Attacks / Second)
Critical Strike Chance (Base: 0%)
Knowledge (Base: 0)
Armor Penetration (Base: 0)
Magic Penetration (Base: 0)
As you can see, you only start with a few stats. And only 2 increase per level. There are some other special stats but I dont need to list them up here. Theyre explained in the items' descriptions.
true/false Stats
Stats also have some true or false statements wich can affect a player everytime:
Bleeding (true/false) - Disables your passive Mana and HP Regeneration. Buffs still work. Invulnerable (true/false) - I dont have to explain more here Magic Immune (true/false) - Every type of magic effect cant be used on you. Wether buffs or just magic damage. But care: Positive effects cant be used on you, too! Silenced (true/false) - You cant use any magic item anymore. No active effects. Blinded (true/false) - Your normal damage is disabled. Wether using a sword or a bow, youll miss the target. Invisible (true/false) - No player can see you! But mobs still smell you...
Without any item affecting these stats, every stats is set on "false".
Abilities
Well... actually abilities are just items with active effects. Thats basically an ability. So an item can improve specific stats AND can have active and/or passive effects at a time. So lets call the abilities "items" now.
You can split all items into 2 parts. Magic and non-magic. There are some differences:
Non-magic can be bought from villagers.
Magic items can only be found in naturally generated chests (dungeon chests). Sometimes you can also buy them at a village.
And nearly all magic items have active effects (except Tier 1 and Tier 2 Items). Also, most of active effects deal magic damage. You can only improve magic damage by getting some knowledge. And only magic items give you knowledge. Same with magic reststance, mana and mana regeneration.
Items can also be compined. For example a "Sharp Edge" gives you bonus attack damage. If you combine it with "Dead Toad" ("Dead Toad" doesnt give you any stats or effects) you get a poisined edge with the following effect that poisions you target for a couple of seconds.

Your HP and Mana regeneration will be ignored. However, healing buffs and items still work.
Mana Heal
You regenerate additional Mana over time. The amount will not be shown.
Spell Casting
This buff means that any spell has been applied. For example teleport or elevating.
Invisibility
You are invisible! Nobody can see you except mobs.
About Mobs
Nearly every Item and Spell can be used against mobs, too. Except Attack Damage: U still have to use a vanilla sword to deal more damage. Otherwise those would be useless. Mobs deal True Damage and can be really effective!
Damage Calculation
The damage calculation isnt dat simple . Red are the attacker's stats, green are the stats of the attacked. "Damage" is the received damage before damage calculation.
If its a critical strike and the Critical Strike Chance is lower than 100% the Applied Normal Damage will be doubled
If its a critical strike and the Critical Strike Chance is higher than 100% the Applied Normal Damage will be doubled + Applied Normal Damage * (Critical Strike Chance - 100%)
If the Attacker has been Blinded the Applied Normal Damage will become 0
Magic Damage:
If the attacked is Magic Immune the Applied Magic Damage becomes 0

I personally love Dota 2 and this is amazing. If you could get it so creeps and towers and all that could be added, that would be amazing because we could recreate Dota within Minecraft, if you update the mod a tad I would love to do a showcase!

Im working on a solution to make mobs stronger. Idk yet how. Ill increase their damage and maybe Ill create a debuff mobs apply to you on attack. This debuff prevents you from healing and damages you over time.
It doesnt work with More Health because I created my own health system
In Hunternif's MOBA mod, having more than 16 hunger will significantly increase regen(by 7,5 per ~90 tick, normal MC regen rate), and when below 8(?) it stop completely, all regen items just don't work. His mod is also compatible with More Health, as if he override MC's health system (my starting health is 450 :P). That may explain why hunger regen works.
If you tell me I'm advertising, I'm sorry, but at least you have a competition with him.

This sure as hell looks promising. I'm adventuring around with Mo' Creatures and Infernal Mobs mods.
I'm feeling this is going to be a great mod. I have high expectations for this one, sure feels amazing!
Question about hunger/food:
Eating food (steak) doesn't seem to do anything. Is this true?
One suggestion : Something where to put these magic items and such, and extra inventory slot / whole extra inventory page. I just found a dungeon when I faceplanted into a raven.
I found 3 strange masks, 3 ancient robes and 3 fairy powders. You might want to turn these item chances down a bit? My inventory is almost full already of this stuff, and I'm still adventuring atm. Updating live

Also about the overpowerness. I was level 30 when I downloaded this mod. I've got 920 Health now, and I noticed a skeleton does 1 damage to me. My health comes back instantly, so I can't be killed by an skeleton, ever.. I've only got a diamond helmet with protection II.

I dont think I have a competition with him. Hes remaking the Items from DotA2 in Minecraft. Im working on a mod allowing you to create custom items very easy and fast (API).
Instant hp sounds great, but don't make them heal too much

Stop treating mod devs poorly. These people mod as a hobby or as a service to the community, they don't have to take your suggestion and you are not entitled to anything from them.
Could you put the hud further up so that the top of the text is only a few pixels away from the edge of the screen? Also maybe a button that toggles being able to see your stats?

Are you going to be making swords which require mana to use? That'd be great. I mean you couldn't swing the sword if you don't have enough mana..
or so that when you've got mana, the sword has some sort of abilities, like setting enemies on fire, freezing them for half a second or lifesteal and such. But if you wouldn't have the mana required, it'd just be a normal swing?
Of course swords with special effects! And thats a great idea! For this I gonna add 1 new Tier 3 Item that gives you mana, ad and knowledge.
I may make another when the mod is fully complete, but for someone like me who does not play LoL & Dota 2, and is unsure how this mod actually works, this showcase will give them a breif understanding,
