yep by default EIO uses mod metals such Thermal Foundation cooper, tin, lead ..etc just like you said you can change it the config file so that it uses only vanilla ingots
Thanks for your help. I have one more question. Do any of the Ender IO recipes require aluminium ingots? Aluminum is the only ore not enabled and I don't want to have it generating if there is no use for it.

nope AFAIK only the base modded metals that are added by Thermal Foundations
In one of the newer game versions (1.8.9 i believe?), A third tier of Photo-voltaic cell was added. Any chance this will be added into the 2.3 Version for 1.7.10? (And any other new items that i may have missed)
Hey, all. Hope you're doin' well. I'm having an issue. I can't seem to figure out how to properly capture the souls of mobs like villagers and animals that sit such as cats, dogs, witchery familiars, etc. I've tried googling this issue but I just keep getting the wiki entries for the powered spawner or the soul vial, which doesn't help at all.
With villagers or other things that have a trading-type menu, such as the demon, it seems if I spam right click it eventually gets caught, but this seems like a bug. As for things that sit it doesn't matter how many times I click it, whether I shift click, etc, it simply doesn't work.
Is there a way around this? Maybe changing key bindings or something?

Ender IO 1.7.10-2.2.8.381
Weird... I've had no issue capturing any mobs. Shift+right clicking on a villager always works for me. I'd look over your key bindings and see if maybe anything is overriding your shift key in such a way that shift+right clicking isn't functioning properly.
Alright, that works with villagers, the witchery demon, etc, but I still can't figure out how to capture "sittable" mobs. Things like tamed wolves, tamed cats, etc. Whether I shift right click, right click, etc, it always just makes it sit or stand.
I get these crashes every now and then. Most of the time when I work with the conduits och conduit facades.
I realise I'm running EnderIO and EnderCore alpha versions, but I just wanted to share this little bug report with the author of a great mod!

How do you stop Redstone conduit / Insulated redstone conduit, from "Feeding back" redstone signal when it's un-powered? I.e, Neither of my levers are outputting signal at the moment, but the conduit is still powered and continuing to leave the sticky piston in the powered state. Also, other than using redstone dust, is there a way to connect the conduits to comparators (Or mimic the function to create a dual switched gate)?
And EIO/MC version is - ? Since you mentioned uninsulated conduits, MC must be 1.7.10.
From your description, it sounds much like you are not telling us the whole story.
Please provide your setup schematic.
I don't know if anyone still frequents here, but I am having some trouble with overwriting or adding to Alloy Furnace recipes. If I copy a recipe from the core file and put it in user file and change a part of it like the amount of Redstone:
It does not change when I load the game. And if I take the quoted out steel recipe from the core file and add it to the user file, that does not work either, even if I change it to use direct item references instead of ore dictionary.
Also, I copied the other entries from the Ender IO recipe group to change the energy costs and now my changes to Redstone Alloy and Conductive Iron to take 8 Redstone are working. So I am more confused.
But this one for Railcraft Steel is still not working, I am using direct item reference because ore dictionary did not seem to work (and yes it is in the <AlloySmelterRecipes> layer):
Not quite, the bottom of the AlloySmelterRecipes_Core.xml file has this section:
<!-- This is an optional Steel Recipe, append one or both of these to a group in the 'AlloySmelterRecipes_User.xml'
<recipe name="Steel" energyCost="8000" >
<input>
<itemStack oreDictionary="ingotIron" number="1" />
<itemStack oreDictionary="dustCoal" number="2" />
</input>
<output>
<itemStack oreDictionary="ingotSteel" number="1" />
</output>
</recipe>
<recipe name="Steel - Charcoal" energyCost="8000" >
<input>
<itemStack oreDictionary="ingotIron" number="1" />
<itemStack modID="minecraft" itemName="coal" itemMeta="1" number="4" />
</input>
<output>
<itemStack oreDictionary="ingotSteel" number="1" />
</output>
</recipe>
-->
So I took the first recipe and put it in a new recipe group, but it did not seem to work. So I tried to use direct item references, but that did not work either.
But of course, I put it in my now working Ender IO recipe group and it works. So it is all working now, but I don't feal like it is quite working like it should.
Could somebody help me with custom Ender IO recipes, specifically the vat? I carefully copied my formatting from the core file, and created my recipe in the user file, but it doesn't work. Did I mess up formatting, or is it Rotarycraft being stupid?

What Minecraft version is this? This does not look like the format I see in my MC 1.12.2 config files.
"rc jet fuel" does not sound like a valid fluid stack definition
</imput> spelled with an M.
Also, the last post in this thread was over 2 years ago and the title hasn't been updated since MC 1.7.
It might just be better to ask your question on the Discord server.

I am using last version EnderIo for 1.7.10 from curse. Everything seems to work fine, except that I can't harvest any grains of infinity. I light on bedrock with flint, wait until the fire goes off naturally, but nothing drops. I tried a lot, tried make a flat surface of bedrock on level 1, still no grains. I wondered if something wrong with config file, but couldn't find anything about grains, also I can't find them in creative inventory. Are there grains in the 1.7.10? If not i wish to know where too look craft recipes for this version. If there must be ones, how can I fix my problem?
Thanks for your help. I have one more question. Do any of the Ender IO recipes require aluminium ingots? Aluminum is the only ore not enabled and I don't want to have it generating if there is no use for it.

Stop using 1.9.4, that version of EIO is incredibly old.
There's a separate XP Vacuum block now. And this is why you should read patch notes.

This mod is still only on .12
Are there any plans on updating it to a later version, especially now that .18 is out
Hello,
I am using last version EnderIo for 1.7.10 from curse.
