Read this post, all of it. If your game crashes, please send a crash report. Otherwise I will ignore you and leave you stranded.
What is InfoTool you may ask?
InfoTool is advanced tool tip mod. Showing the harvest level of tools, and their speed and how many uses are left.
Okay, but what are some benefits?
InfoTool is compatible with all mods that do not edit the classes that I have edited. Meaning all items from other mods (Such as Biomes O' Plenty Amethyst Armor and such) will have tool tips as well! Making you have extra knowledge on what armor set and tool set is best from a mod.
Cool! Can I have some pictures?
Sure!
Look at the first 3 lines of the item underneath the name. This is what it adds.
Very nice! How do I install it?
Installation Instructions:
This is where it gets tricky, okay first, download the latest 1.6.3 Forge Installer from http://files.minecraftforge.net and run the installer.
Next, go to your .minecraft directory where it may be. Once there, go to the versions folder and click on the forge folder you just installed, and once there open up the Forge9.x.x.x.jar and delete META-INF.
After doing that, open up the jar file you downloaded of this mod and drag the files into the Forge9.x.x.x.jar, and close both jars.
Run the Minecraft Launcher for 1.6.2. Click "Edit Profile" in the bottom left corner of the launcher. Once editing, go to the versions drop down menu and select the forge version you installed. After doing this, copy this, -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true and paste it into the JVM Arguments after -Xmx1G.
Donations are not mandatory, but appreciated. My PayPal account is unverified so I can only receive around $500/mo I think. If I can't receive money then I'll deny it and it'll be send back to you. I am only a 15-year-old in high school and am hoping to become a game developer as I grow older. Some money received will go to charity, like Child's Play Charity (Through Humble Bundle) and the rest is software money for game development/mod development.
If you feel like sending money, put in the box to send it to, my email: [email protected]
I like his mod idea except its a base edit Would love to see this Forge Compatible version without the edits. PM me on IRC and I can see about helping you with that.

It does. Just tested it on the server.
Best of luck!!
(Hope it works with Oceanica when it comes out XD)
Creator of Oceanica Mod.
Thanks guys!
Could you possibly make it so it can toggle on/off?
Why would you want to toggle it off if you installed it in the first place?
Brb posting this everywhere.

Make it more Vanilla like I guess. Not saying I would do it!
I'll think about it.
The diamond sword works fine.
Metallurgy swords with no special effect do not work.
Same with swords that have status effects.

Swords from base work fine, the way they coded the swords from fantasy and other things are different which doesn't make it work.
It's not really a fault on my end.
I sorry.
Okay well uh, EDIT: Apparently no swords from metallurgy work. Which is odd, they coded them very weirdly.
Sweet! Thanks!
Your tools don't extend ItemSword, ItemPickaxe, etc. So they won't work until you make them extend that class.
Your armor works though because you made it extend ItemArmor.
Okay, I'll do so later.
