Could you also add Technic's wiki. They have always had rather organized pages.
Yes, indeed I can. I will be working on adding the larger wikis based on the mods that they support. That is coming in the next update as well as some new systems I have been working on with the Feed the Beast crew. Thanks for the suggestion
This helps a lot. Does this work with searching on google? if it works, is it possible to add extra strings to the search for example: Melon and then add "minecraft" after it?
I'm not sure about the currently released version of WikiLink having Google support like that, but I have already added that to the next version. By default, you will be able to complete a Google search based on item name and mod name, as well as an option for the "I'm feeling lucky" in Google's search engine as well. As of right now, there is no way for you to make the default search system Google :/
I have been working really hard on this, so I hope you guys like it!
If you can't tell from the picture, tooltips have been added in the upcoming version (unreleased)! They can display extra information about a link including information from Youtube!
I am currently doing code checks / squashing final bugs! There's only a couple more things on my todo list for this next version!
WikiLink has been updated to a beta version. Please help me test out the new features and report bugs by downloading WikiLink 3.01.05d!
Change Log
+ Scrollbar inside of the menu
+ Tooltips while hovering buttons
+ Tooltips now display live youtube data
+ Feed the Beast partnership/wiki summary pages
+ WikiLink can now pull info from the feed the beast wiki pages and display them. Items that have summaries available will enable the "?" button in the GUI.
+ /wlreload <videos/config> commands for my personal use, but devs might find it useful.
+ Started on the localization project
+ Added Minecraft forum thread system. Links to mod threads will slowly start popping up after a few updates.
+ Live video list downloading. This will make for less manual downloads from the user.
+ Added a new keybinding that will get the block/monster you are looking at and open it in the GUI menu.
The update is awesome, except that if you use a translated version of minecraft it's not going to work with a wiki. At least with the swedish version. I'm from Sweden and am a translator on the minecraft wiki. When I'm using the wikilink on a horse which is called "Häst" in Swedish it searches on the wiki for "Häst" although the minecraft wiki name is Horse/se. And also when I searched on google for "Bloodleaves" from Natura mod I got to "Natural high blood pressure". I think the easiest fix for that is to just add "Mod" after it or "Minecraft" or "Minecraft Mod". Is it possible to fix this?
Also I discoverd that you can't really search for something like "water". Because it targets the block underneath the water then. If you hold a bucket of water in your hand, it's gonna search for "Water Bucket".
Oh, you're actually a translator on the Minecraft wiki? I've been looking for someone like you to explain to me how all of the translations work. I kind of half-assed the searching for translated items because I was a bit uneducated about it, but that will be fixed next update. Also, the liquids problem is something that ProfMobius has fixed in his mod and I need to talk to him about it. I just haven't had time, but I will see what I can do to improve that keybind feature.
Seems like a really neat mod, especially for the youtubers and streamers.
Limiting alt+tab time and sharing the link with your viewers is almost impossible without something like this (Or manual labor, but who does that anyway).
Also I wouldn't mind taking a shot at making a mod spotlight, I could make it from scratch, but I'd love to get some pointers on things you'd like me to show off.
And then a final idea. You mentioned a video search option, maybe getting someone to make short 30-60 second video's fore every item (group).
Visuals always help more than text. Would be a huge project though, especially if you plan to implement all the FTB mods.
Keep up the good work!

You can definitely make a video spotlight! I have been waiting for someone to come around and decide I was worthy enough for one If you shoot me a pm I can get you a list of all of the features WikiLink has, or you can find my skype name in my profile somewhere. And as for your 30-60 second shorts that can be implemented into the mod, heck yeah. I linked a couple of channels in the OP that do something similar, and if you or anyone can make videos with good quality like that, I'll definitely be willing to work with you.
I just released a new WikiLink version with a lot of core changes which will effect the update schedule in the future. I can now manage all of WikiLink's information including websites, google links, wikis, youtube videos and everything else WikiLink deals with and have the mod automatically receive that data.
Some other changes include a few bug fixes with enchanted items as well as a separate wiki link that will direct you to the Minecraft wiki for that enchantment when searching enchanted books. I haven't made much leeway on the localization problems yet, but that's my next task.
I get an error message from dropbox when i try to download the latest version of WikiLink.
I added a direct download mirror next to the dropbox link on the original post. Hopefully that will clear up problems for you and anyone else having issues.
Well Hmm I just played around and it was when I pressed I on a Block or Chicken (I were in my chicken farm) And it just crashed. I tried to recreate the crash and it worked. Every time I press I it crashes.
I'll see if I can fix what the problem is right now. I have already started on 1.7.2 but luckily my 1.6.4 workspace still exists ;).

I did not experience the crash, even when playing on the Metallurgy test server with other mods. It could perhaps be a conflict with another mod you have installed and the keybinding, but who knows. Would you mind sending the mod list?
