totally agree with that, you should really make it like gravitycraft, maybee not the mineup part but at least it's gravity control (and render,in GC,inverted gravity also inverted mobs models)
Im happy that there is someone that agrees!

Greetings from nightpowers, currently hunting mobs in the night
Hey dude0367, I made a video showing off your Gravity Control mod here!
http: youtu.be/MgslXhyRbnY
Great job on this man! I really enjoyed playing around with this a recording my video on it
I would love if you could put this video in the first post, thanks!
How about a Gravity pad, a sciency pressure plate like device, that you can place on any flat surface, when you right click/touch it you will be pulled towards it making that surface "down" gravity wise.
With that you could make an "Escher staircase room" by placing it at the bottom of the stairs.
Idea: Hover Controller
What it will do is make you hover 3 blocks above ground
How does that sound? I really need some feedback here. Also, the first video posted will get featured in the thread.
Does it make you float relative to the block below you? If yes it could make for a way to climb 2 block steps easily.
I was thinking of something like the hover boots from zelda, a device that when used it would make you hove at the same level relatove to the block that you were standing on when you used ot for 10 seconds, a great way to cross ravines or holes in the ground without building ugly bridges.
This idea is amazing. But it doesn;t work for some reason. I can't figure out what the problem is here. Does anyone know?

This is pretty awesome, you should add blocks that have their own gravity so that people can make planetoids that have their own gravity so that you don't fall off. Also you should add a controller that allows the pull of gravity to be changed to any direction instead of just up and down.

Changing gravity sideways would be really hard, as chunks are loaded vertically, which is a problem, as falling sideways would cause you to fall trough multiple chunks, causing lots of lag.
A solution would be to change chunks to be loaded according to gravity, but that would require changing very core files of the physics generator, which would probbably be non-compatible with any mod ever.
There was a mod that did that way back (about 1.4 i think), but it was discontinued very soon, still works though if you don't mind playing very old versions.
if this is updated update time controller plzhey using this on a running mini game would be cool like going upside down on the other blocks or use it to jump like gravity guy
You should add a gravity block that makes things fall towards it, i.e. if you are above it your grav is normal, if you are below it your grav is upside-down, and if you are on the side your grav is sideways so that you can stand on any face of the block, and build a planet around it that you can stand on.

You should add a gravity block that makes things fall towards it, i.e. if you are above it your grav is normal, if you are below it your grav is upside-down, and if you are on the side your grav is sideways so that you can stand on any face of the block, and build a planet around it that you can stand on.
The player would always be falling toward the block, so they would land on it, there would not be a need to load new chunks. Loading chunks according to gravity would just screw everything up. All this would be so much easier if mc put in cubic chunks <http://www.minecraft...pdated-feb-3rd/>
Oh, you meant with a centralised gravity, I thought you meant linear gravity.
In that case that mod did that too, but had problems switching between the six sides and players often sunk waist deep into the block when switching, but tha could be avoided.
On the other hand some japanese guy successfuly made a gravity controll mod with core gravity, small planets you can travel to (dimensions) and wall-pads that change your gravity to where they are placed on f you walk on them (but it switches back about 1second after you step off them)
It's called StarMiner and it's in alpha, the yogscast already did half of a showcase on t!
There is another mod that does this about thirty-five times more awesomely, but is still compatible with everything else, has more features, and squid cannons. (Well, how else would you get into orbit?) The only downside is that it is by a Japanese guy, so while the ingame stuff is in English, the forum thread isn't. It's called the Starminer mod. http://forum.minecraftuser.jp/viewtopic.php?t=17975
You can make antigrav panels that allow you to walk along walls and ceilings, build star cores that generates a miniature gravity field around itself and allows you to create a planet, and (this is the best part) go up to geosynchronous orbit with zero Gs. The only way to go around is using a Solar Fan to blow yourself around with Solar Wind. There are mini-planets that you can blow yourself to.
Unfortunately, it has some minor bugs, but many fewer than can legitimately be expected. It has issues with shooting objects, which will go off in weird directions, but it's still awesome.

Oh my god...YES I WOULD GET THE MOD JUST FOR THAT!

The player would always be falling toward the block, so they would land on it, there would not be a need to load new chunks. Loading chunks according to gravity would just screw everything up. All this would be so much easier if mc put in cubic chunks <http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1707097-cubic-chunks-reduced-lag-infinite-height-and-more-nearly-three-thousand-supportersupdated-feb-3rd/>
