This mod boosts your FPS by changing math functions in Minecraft to be a faster. Originally based on FishTacos Fps++ but now goes further in optimization.Suggestions Welcome.
Before installing this mod:After installing this mod:(I let the game sit there for about 5 minutes each time)
FpsPlus+: Contains the version D, and a few fixes that can improve fps in certain scenarios.(Enchanted items lag fix, Reverted to the classic main menu, Enchanted armor lagging when wearing)
You must use the newest forge installers from http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and install the Forge profile. If you use OPTIFINE put Optifine.jar into the mods folder. Go to \AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\versions then select the folder which forge just installed. Then open up the Forge.jar in that folder with winzip/7zip and 1st: Delete META-INF 2nd: Open up the version of FpsPlus you downloaded with winzip/7zip and drag the class files into the .jar. THEN add these Start up parameters "-Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true" OR: you can load the mod with MagicLauncher. Its alot easier. Or you can just put it in the mods folder. All of them should work as long as you add the startup parameters.
Want to support me?:Buy me Minecraft and then pm me the code... I still haven't bought it:PP
If you are trying to make your server run better then the best thing you can do is use spigot http://www.spigotmc....about-spigot.3/ . Spigot is a highly optimised Bukkit server. If you run Forge then use http://www.mcportcen...hp?topic=5490.0 . Mcpc+ Is a Spigot and Forge combined so you can use Bukkit plugins and Forge mods seamlessly and have a extremely fast server.
You can add a few startup parameters that might make that game faster for you. "-server -XX:+AggressiveOpts -XX:+UseFastAccessorMethods" These may or may not work for you.
Where do you put the start up parameters. If you are suppose to put in to JVM Arguments then how ?
when ever i put the start up parameters in the boxes it says this Error: Could not create Java Virtual Machine
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit. PLEASE HELP :((((((
I deleted the Meta-Inf folder, but when I try to start Minecraft it brings me back the launcher. I also don't know how to add the start up parameters Little help, pls?

Decided to give this a whirl after Optifine and FTB packs stopped working (last time I could even get MC to launch with OF was FTB Ultimate).. I can now maintain 60fps in my base (minus one room with a bunch of Forestry/Extra Bees stuff) with some visual eyecandy forced via nVidia control panel, compared to 40-55 stuttering.. even while just standing there.
NVCP:
-16 Anisotropic, forced globally
-VSync, forced globally
Ingame:
-GFX: Fancy
-Smooth Lighting: Max
-Particles: All
-Fullscreen: Off
-Render Distance: Far
-Performance: Max FPS
-Advanced OpenGL: Off (weird, but it actually boosts fps for some reason)
-Clouds: Off
-Faithful 32x Texture Pack
Rig:
-Core i5 3450 @ 3GHz (3.5GHz auto-turbo)
-16GB DDR3 1333
-EVGA GTX670 @ 324/915/1156 idle/default/keplar auto-oc
-7200RPM 500GB
Java arguments:
-Xmx4096m (any higher and NEI lags when looking up recipes and especially so when looking up usages of items)
-permsize=256m
I doubt this is something a modder could do, and I know the dev team is working on OpenGL upgrades, but I wish there was a way to move the rendering thread off the CPU and purely on GPU. I'd love to see MC push my GPU to at least half the default "full use" clock and not stutter as badly. Still, this is a step in the right direction.
Minecraft Forge is out for Minecraft 1.7.2, so....please update this mod, I NEED IT!!!!! (gosh I stinkin' need a mac as well.....I hate Windows sometimes...)
When I firstly tried to install this mod on vanilla minecraft launcher, I didn't know where to put the startup parameters -.- then I tried it on the ATlauncher on a modpack, cause it haved something in the settings tab that said extra java parameters or something, I tried adding the parameters there and put the mod file in the mod folder, but I can't tell if it's working, It doesn't seem like I'm getting a boost..
Am I doing something wrong?
Never heard of ATLauncher before, But it looks to be doing its job, And yes the extra java parameters and the same as start up parameters.

Hey man. I wanna merge this into older version of minecraft. But I cant open those links in the post..
Maybe you will open-source?
I will open source eventually. There are numerous fast Sin\Cos lookup tables on the internet, the only thing you have to do is to find one and then put that into the mathhelper class and get rid of the old sin\cos methods then compile and it will work. And if you still cant do it let me know what version and Ill make it for you.

OK. I want to know is there any proformance different between libgdx and java's own math lib?
Any I am more interested about how to fix the problem on enchanted item.

Thank for your reply
If there is any difference in performance it would be really small, that being said I have started using the MathHelper.class from Version D since people said that worked the best. The trade off is sin\cos are slightly inaccurate but still within reason, and the others just gave more precision in the calculations. ITEMGLINT= ITEMGLINT.png etc is basically what causes the lag, I went in took out all of the item glint calls and then took out some other things to make sure the glint was gone.

It had 10 fps before playing with many lag spikes.
And now it has ~25 FPS without any lag spikes.
The only thing crappy specs create is more games created for crappy specs.
Man up, get job, upgrade.
Maybe you will open-source?
