Thanks for the quick response. So I should just keep Optifine since it does the same thing as your mod, but adds clear water + few other minor graphical improvements? (Yours removing extra lag instead of adding new graphics is essentially the difference between the two mods is what I've gotten.)
Yeah, the mods dont conflict so you dont need to choose one over the other, you could run both and just turn off the fast math function in Optifine.

EDIT: HOOOOLLLLYYY MACKERAL! I've gotten a near 100 FPS boost from installing this, the 76th mod in my MineCraft. I remember when Optifine first got installed... this, this might me better than that day. Abandenz, you are truly my hero!
OH GOD!!! HOLEY CRAP I LOVE IT
I have 77 mods (or more) installed (including Optifine, Mo' Creatures and Galacticraft) and I always get that 5 sec. lag thing, with like, only 9-12 FPS. NOW I HAVE MUTHAF*CKING 50 FPSS!!! I LOVE IT!!
I can probably install more mods now. I play on a laptop that can't even handle GTA 4. But now I can devote my life to playing with freaking dirt armor (Credits to B0bGary)
P.s. I use the FpsPlus (normal), and I just dragged it in the mods folder.
EDIT: I think you should make WAAYYYY more mods (if you can. I'm not pressuring you.) Since it only modifies 1 file, I think you have lots of free time and could learn easily. (Unlike me with my useless internet connection), but please make more mods. I love this one, and I'm DEFINITELY getting it if Forge comes out for 1.7.2. Ya know that green button in the lower right section? I'm gonna MASH THAT BUTTON. I rarely comment (that doesn't mean I'm a critic) but this mod made me COMMENT THIS REALLY LONG COMMENT. So please, make more mods. FOR OUR SAKE!!! *puppy eyes*

Hahaha thankyou :). I've been waiting for 1.7.2Forge to be released before I think about making any forge mods( that was always the plan, and to add more stuff to FpsPlus in 1.7.2). And haha I have useless internet too:) (12Kbs TMobile Hotspot:( I will have fast internet all the time pretty soon though).

This is gonna be a mod I recommend for those with FPS issues and no longer will I promote or support Optifine. For me Optifine decreases performance. This mod is epic! This will actually increase performance drastically! I went from 50-60FPS average with 88 mods (including this one) to a whopping 120-150FPS average over about 5 minutes of idling and rendering chunks in on a new world. You have gone there my friend and boy is that land amazing!! This is why math is important kids!

it should. And FpsPlus and FpsPlus+ work on both client\servers.
I tried your mods on the modpack and they would not load. The modpack is stable and uses forge build 6.2.62.871 for minecraft 1.6.2, if you would like, I could send you the platform URL for the modpack and you could test it a bit. I tried a few versions but I did not see any FPS boost and they would not load up for me

1.6.2 is a little werid, I might take a look at updating that version. The mod wont say it is loaded, but you should notice a little boost at least. It really only affects processors that are slow and have a small cache, which now is not alot(09 and lower things like dual cores and laptops\ lowend dekstops.) Some computers react badly to the optimization because they already do a faster job, As long as you are not getting any fps loss I would keep it installed.

The problem is that I have been having weird lag issues lately, so I tried you mod and I still only get about 2-5 FPS, I see no change when I install the mod. If you could maybe update it if you have the time, maybe do a bit of testing for the forge version we are using, or you could send it to me and I could test it a bit
Also, I just tried it with no other mods installed and I saw no FPS increase. Maybe it is the forge version not working correctly with your mod, would you concider updating it to version 9.10.1.871 please? That would be a great help to my server since people are getting horrible FPS because of all of the mods that we have.
Actually i was wondering about your installation instructions...( THEN add these Start up parameters "-Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true" ) Where does that go exactly?

It goes in your profile. You know the profile you click before you play? Go to Edit profile, check JVM arguments, and type both of those in.

111 mods and no crashes every 5 mins....
(What's the difference in performance with FPSPlus+ and [Normal] FPSPlus?)
There is no reason to really, The changes are small and tedious to keep back porting the newest versions.
