Dear, Hurricaaane In my sever, there are some people think this mod occupies many rams but I do not think so. (When he play for a long time, the minecraft does not responding. These just some sound works so I really do not believe that it can occupy so much ram.) This is a ssp mod and how much rams do you estimate it will occupy in the game? BTW, I also want to know the ram occupied by MAtoms mod ^q^
May I use the concrete step sounds for my game? You will get credited of course
As far as I am aware. Hurricaane didn't make the sounds. He bought them. The link to where he bought them from is probably in here somewhere, but the licensing is here.
Any chance of a 1.5.2 version? I'd like to include this in my modpack, because it's purely amazing, but I don't intend to update beyond 1.5.2 until something drastic happens like 1.8 adding a million new blocks or something.
I still find it hard to go from my vanilla profile to my modpack profile and lose these sounds.
I do hope that maybe someday, Jeb will consider putting the sound engine in this mod into the game, the vanilla footsteps are lazy, this mod offers a lot of versatility. MAtmos too. It would be amazing if they we're put in the game. Amazing mod
Sorry again for the lack of 1.6.4 version, but considering ModLoader maintenance has come to a halt (= no 1.6.4 version of ModLoader, and probably no 1.7 version in the future), I'd rather work on directly on making up a version for Minecraft 1.7.
There will be Forge compatibility for sure, and LiteLoader compatibility may arrive later (no promises).
Back in August, you said that you would add in support for Mine Little Pony with 4 legged support, has this been done?
I'm with those guys.
Yes, it will, 1.7.
I'm still ironing some details, because I'm still unsure how to handle the "walking"/"trotting" stance, it doesn't sound as good as I wish it would

Yay, you just made my everything.
Have you looked at blazeloader its an upcoming API that may be taking modloaders place in the future depending on whether rusugami decides to update. They are still early in development but there may be a working version for 1.7 coming out.
Anyway thank you for this amazing mod and for MAtmos, I will be quietly awaiting the next update for both.
Very Late Edit: Forgot a link to blazeloader in case you wanted to look at it.
I'm not active on these forums, so forgive me if I don't respond!

Presence Footsteps is an overly complicated footstep sound enhancement mod for Minecraft. It changes the way footstep sounds are produced, in addition to a whole new set of sounds.
Presence Footsteps adds new sound effects when Minecraft didn't play any sound at all, such as jumping, landing, walking on the edge of a block, foot shuffling when coming to a stop.
It also plays sounds differently whenever you're running, and allows each block to be played in a different way: Metal fences does not sound like iron blocks; Walking over rails both plays a faint metallic sound and the surface below it; Walking on a piston pointing upwards sounds like wood.
This only enhances your footsteps, not those of others players.

Sorry, the licensing only applies to the source code and compiled bytecode (.class files), I have no right to do that for the sounds
