Way, I have overcome the limitation of the alter output buffer without using the new runes! It is a simple build using Extra utility's transfer nodes moving a bucket in and out of the alter, an open blocks tank being fill by a thaumic tinkerer's dynamism tablet using the bucket, and the tank being emptied into a drum.

Mind if I ask if you plan on adding a book with the information for this mod (similar to what Ars Magica 2 does)? Just wondering if you've thought of doing something like this.
Server appears to get trapped in a while/for loop of some sort whenever I summon an elemental and ends up needing to be put down and restart. No crashlog. It just freezes and stops responding.

I still have no idea why that happens, nor why it only happens with servers. It also seems to be random. Is it a specific Elemental, or is it any of them?

I've only been summoning Shade Elementals so far. I'm afraid to waste materials and essence on any more summons and the server host is sick of having to restart. :/
Edit: Oh, also! Your demons and elementals are missing localizations.

That sounds similar to what happened to me in single player.
Simply move the drum to the alter that does have the runes of dislocation, then pump it in. Also, there seems to be a bug where the alters input buffer will fill, but continue to accept blood, draining the drum without filling the alter. I knew something was wrong when a drum(holds 256 buckets) was drained dry while the alter had only a few thousand LE added(I knew the alters were viscous, but not THIS viscous). I was using EU pipes and speed upgrades in the transfer node.
Now a few changes i propose. First, the alter needs a buff. The current rate is so slow even with upgrades. I recommend boosting base output to a bucket a minute, so it would still be slow, but not nearly as bad as it is now. Also the rune needs a buff, to maybe a boost of 50mb/s or 100mb/s per. Make them worth the cost.
Speaking of the rune of dislocation, the current recipe could use a change, perhaps lapis instead of water bucket? It would make the process less tedious, and more expensive to go with a buff.
Due to the change of being able to transmute stacks at a time, could you make the divination sigil give more information from an alter that is working, like the total cost of the transmutation and how far it currently is. I would have loved that when a sat at my alter for hours to transmute a stack of reinforced slats into infused slats. Hours way. Hours. The only thing that kept me going is the thought of the automated alter that this would go towards making.
10 Lp/s ? Insanity!
and 226 Lp/s max is just way too slow!
I mean we aren't pumping silly putty are we?
i think something like
28 Lp/s Basis
and +9 per Rune should be a more acceptable value
that would be :
64 LP/s for Tier 2
280 LP/s for Tier 3
532 LP/s for Tier 4 and
1000 LP/s for Tier 5 (with maximum amount of Runes of dislocation)
which is still a ridicioulusly low amount, in comperison to what your imput is, with a halfway decent Mob Farm and Rune setup.
Still torturing my brain to come up with decent ideas for a "light" side of this mod...
based on Mr.Videogames Bassin of Angel Tears maybe something that slows the growth of nearby Plants but Produces a litte amount of Lp everytime a Plant nearby matures ?
Or the possibillity to throw plants into your Blood Altar, that slowly dissolve(~30 sec per) and fill it with maybe 10 Lp per plant.
Or the ability to imfuse those Plants with some of your life energy, which makes them literaly bear fruits of your sacrifice that can be turned into Lp either through eating them or putting them into the Altar or another contraption near an Altar.
I like the idea of "Fruits of sacrifice" , perhaps make it to where you need to use the sacrificial dagger near it to make it grow past the first stage, and more blood makes it grow like a weaker bone meal, or instead of water nearby it needs life essence.
Perhaps anther way to to gather LP is "The Blood of the Divines". A muli-block structure that generates LE when it rain, or maybe you can fill it with water then preform a rite that turns the water to Le. It would cost LP it start, and would take some time, but you would have more Lp then when you started.
I still like the idea of a chestplate that would drain blood from you when you get over nine hearts, and heals you when your low by drawing from the SN, with a greater cost then what it brings in.

Just going to pop by to tell you that v0.6.3a has been added, and the Rune of Dislocation now adds 10LP/s, and the base is 20LP/s. Also, the input buffer is now fixed, and the Shade Elemental summoning recipe has been temporarily removed.
Sorry I can't spend time to read through your ideas, since I have quite a bit of homework to do... =(

Found anther bug: the ritual of binding is not working on axes, the axe is eaten and the master ritual stone is struck with lightning, but it stops after that.

Ugh the new way to put liquid in is toooo slooooow T-T i can't even use Blood magic ... Please try to make another rune who will be insanity price but will really add speed ! Maybe do this to all runes ? Something like runes level 2 xD ? EDIT : why the recipe of rune of dislocation not working o_o ?
Well, it the latest patch it is not "as" bad as before, my auto-crafting alter went from pulling about two hundred mb/s to just above five hundred per sec. A little more tweaking and it should be self sufficient.
And remember, we are the players, the mages. We must abide by the rules the mod maker creates while we look for ways to bend and break them.
Now then, there are drums that need filling with over 3,000,000 LE, and there not going to fill themselves....

I've been noticing a problem where lightning strikes the stone and immediately destroys the dropped item. Try standing directly on top of the master ritual stone when you do the ritual and see if you pick up the bound axe before the lightning destroys it.

Your right, it seems to be a mixer of the fire destroying the item and the full rite not happening. I have made bound tools before, and lightning would strike the master stone, then some of the pillars around the stone, then the tool would pop out, instead of one strike then tool. Placing water down seemed to stop the tool burning.
There is certainly some danger in that ritual, for sure. Also, as to the Runes of Dislocation, I feel that a linear upgrade system doesn't work well... I think that if the upgrades were multiplicative (say, 20*(1.2)^rune number)), that may be much more indicative of the power of the runes. So yeah, your output/input would still be slow at low tiers, but at higher ones ... watch your butt!
Thoughts?

I'm playing in a modpack without any sort of serious liquid storage ability, so I'm more than happy to be able to stack capacity runes instead of using my conga line of translocators and seared tanks.
Also, I LOVE the Ritual of Unbinding! For all the work it takes to make Bound Armor, I'm really glad you added a way to get a full refund for upgrading.

I'm on board with this. I got a few million LE in drums to use, and it needs to go toward builing a alter of the orb. (Tier five alter with only orb upgrade runes.)

Is there any ingame documentation in this mod (an example would be Thaumcraft 4's Thaumonomicon)? I've skimmed through a bit of the OP and this mod sounds like it'd be more fun to dive in head first and make mistakes. I really do enjoy the concept of "magic with high risk".

Currently, no. We have the original post, the mod author and the few of us regulars for info. Don't worry, we're only mildly crazy here.

So, I made a bucket of life thinking it'd be a LP storage item. I don't seem to be able to put in back in the altar to fill it. Was I wrong to think it was an item to store LP or am I doing something wrong?

You'll have to pipe it back in using some sort of liquid tank because the altar won't accept it back in directly. So, yes, you are wrong for thinking of it as an LP storage item.
- Added liquid blood - there, I said it! You can get a bucket of the stuff by infusing a regular bucket in a tier 1 or above altar (any altar). However, the blood can not be placed back into the altar without ... other means.
