I can't seem to get the 5th Demon Summoning to work. I did a bit of a search and someone else seems to have had problems as well. I used Steak since cooked beef doesn't exist in the game, should i have used something else?
I have encountered this same issue.. Using the master blood orb, I haven't gotten the last one yet...maybe I need the last orb for it to work? Also the 6th one with the glass block and jar added. The summoning will take the other items I made (tennebrea&aether) but won't touch the glass items and just stop. Again, I only have the master orb so far. And one last thing, is the third ring for demon summoning. I don't see any recipes that actually require it. The most I see is the 12 items for 7 & 8 which would only require the first 2 rings. So is this third ring kinda useless at the moment?
I did finally get some wither skelly skulls, so I shall have the Archmage orb soon If it is required for the 5th and up summoning!!!
I play this on a server if it matters.

You do plus a 5th tier altar...i have the demon blood shards. You get them by summoning Elementals and beating them. I finally got wither skulls to summon the wither to get the nether stars for beacons. Then I shall have my 5th Tier altar!!!

getting becons was easy, i thought you get the demon blood shards from demons not elementals lol. oops. ill go kill some now
Oh, those thing? What they do is simple, but very useful. If you have a potion that you like, or has expensive ingredients you don't want to spend on a new potion, and it is running low on uses they can "Fill" the potion. They basically refill the potion, giving you more uses out of it. Better agents refill more uses and are needed on better potions. Simple, but useful.

Welp. Didn't see that coming. It appears to be because the modulus operator returns a negative number when used on a negative. I think I can figure out something for this...
Could you also comment on the alchemical chemistry sets Isided inventory question I raised? I am rather curious about that....

While we're on the subject of things that should work, could people test out the Gaia's Transformation ritual and see if it works at all in the latest version? It works in my dev environment, but if it doesn't work in other people's it MIGHT be a bit of a problem.

I've bound an archmage orb to myself, used the Orb of Testing to fill my pool, set up the demon summoning altar exactly as described in the OP, placed 3 incendium, an aether, a tennebrae, and a bit of netherrack into the 1st ring, placed a gold block, diamond, coal block, fire charge, and 2 magicalus into the second ring, and then slotted in the archmage blood orb...
...no demon.
Is the OP incomplete? Does demon #8 have a 3rd ring of items required that this doesn't list?

As for Gaia's Transformation I have good news and bad news.
Good news: I don't crash every time it is activated!
Bad news: It can only set the temperature to icy or normal, and no matter how much netherrack or coal blocks I use the temp won't go above normal. And I can't get humidity to be affected at all...
Edit: As for the chemistry set, if you could make it to where it actually accepts items would be great. Being able to automate the creation of things like simple catalysts was something I wanted to do.

The rings go upwards, not downwards. I.e. the second ring is one level above the first, and same with the third.

My issue with the hole thing right now is that i can't get the well of suffering or the Ritual of the feathered knife to work.
I used the Ritual deviner, so i'm pretty shure they are build the right way, i even get the red sparkles from the activation but no matter where i put the altar, it doesn't get any blood and nothing gets damaged.
(I build the whole thing in creative).
And i personaly prefer multiblocks as they just look way cooler, if done right.
Edit: i build the ROFK at 0,0 to see if it was a coordinate thing, but now it won't even give me the swirlies...
I'm having the same problem in the Horizons modpack. The master ritual stone is exactly 6 blocks above the alter and it does nothing. How close does it need to be? I'm getting red swirlies to imply the the ritual is activated, but nothing happens. Here are a couple screenshots of the ritual.
For the record, I'm not using the creative diviner and I have well over the 50k required to activate the ritual.
Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but on upgrade to the 2nd tier altar, does there need to be a rune below the altar? Only the description says you need 8 to upgrade...
The 2nd tier altar just need 8 blood runes and placing them in 3x3,so don't need a rune below the altar.The Divination Sigil can determine the tier of altar so you can try yourself.

I activated a sigil of magnetism in my world and I noticed that it wasn't pulling up some of the ores so I went into a creative world and fiddled around and found out that these ores are the ones that don't get attracted. And I was wondering if there is a a way to add them to the sigil of magnetisms magnetic attraction ability. I have a picture but the comment thing wont let me add it and I don't know how to make a drop down thing so I can't add the picture. The ores are the infused ores from Thaumcraft 4 and all ores from the Ars Magica 2 mod.
