we are a bunch of dudes who has tried to make energy manipulator work with some of the items from tinkers construct, but so far without any luck. if you know any solution on if it works or not it would be awesome or if you could maybe lead us to a place where we could see how others have done it would be awesome as well

Edit: Nvm, if you open the jar or zip with winrar (or extract if you want) then go into assets then lang then en_gb you will find all the technical names with a = after it and then the actual name. You're welcome!

The EnergyManipulator TileEntity checks every Tick for all its 6 sides if its connected to a Energy Container and all 55 ItemSlots for containing items. This causes major Tick Drops on Servers, could you change some of that code?
I have a massfabricator from IC2 hooked up and I am trying to pump liquad uu matter into my energy man. but can't get any liquad pipes to connect. version 1.1.8 Has this been changed? anyone know how to connect liwuad pipes we have been piping in stuff with our quarries but I want to use UU matter :-)

Its a liquid now not an item. The best I can think of is creating scrap with the energy manipulator. But the mod doesnt handle liquids at all. Your screwed if you want to create liquid UU matter from items from your quarry.

I was afraid of that maybe a feature request for next version is to handle liquids? that way we can harvest buildcraft oil, fuel, lava, uu matter lots of things!!!
I found a major EV exploit that needs to be fixed!
Making a golden apple only takes 3704 EV (8 Gold nuggets = 3640 EV, Apple = 64 EV) but you can condense it for 294976 EV!
so hold the golden apple in your hand then type:
/emconfig loadconfig 1
/emconfig addcurrent 50000 (or hwat ever ev amount you feel is a good balance for your world)
/emconfig saveconfig

YES! It works with FTB, YogCraft, Technic, Vanilla, etc This mod adds the one thing which kept me from transitioning from Tekkit to FTB, the so called Energy Condenser (EE2) .

How to use this mod
Yeah, so I realized I had forgot to create a "how to" (hehe ), so here it is Hold SHIFT to see the EV.
Tip!
You can set a conversion penalty. Let's say you set it to 75, then whenever the manipulator consumes something it'll consume 75% of it and throw the rest away, but the items/blocks still cost the same as before. So, it makes it a little harder, as you will eventually run out of EV and will have to go get more
The Blocks Energy Manipulator
- What it does:Turns blocks/items into other blocks/items.
- Max storage (default, configurable):32768.
- Automation Options:Hoppers, BC Pipes, RedPower Tubes, Energy Conduits (in the workings).
- Top slot: The block/item the Energy Manipulator will produce.
- Other slots: The blocks/items the Energy Manipulator will consume. Energy Container
- What it does:Stores Energy.
- Max storage (default, configurable):131072.
- Automation Options:Hoppers, BC Pipes, RedPower Tubes, Energy Conduits (in the workings).
- Top slot:Must be populated with an Energy Battery, will discharge it.

Energy Battery

- Fuel:Energy (must be stored in an Energy Battery).
- Caveats:Having more than one Flying Ring in your inventory at the same time, will result in the "Energy Cost Per Second" getting multiplied by the amount of Flying Rings (this is on purpose).
Commands
- "/emconfig"the main command.
- "/emcf"alias for the main command.
- "/emconfig reload"reloads all the configs.
- "/emconfig createconfig"creates and loads a new EV config (gets prefixed with "EMEV_", suffixed with ".cfg"). - "/emconfig loadconfig"loads an existing config (gets prefixed with "EMEV_", suffixed with ".cfg").
- "/emconfig saveconfig" saves the currently loaded config. - "/emconfig unloadconfig" unloads the currently loaded config, WITHOUT SAVING IT! - "/emconfig addcurrent" adds the current item held in hand to the currently loaded config with the specified EV value.
- "/emconfig addinventory" adds all the items in your inventory (the main 36 slots) to the currently loaded config with the specified EV value.
- "/emconfig addrawentry" adds the entry to the currently loaded config (Mostly used for enchantment entries).

Installation: Just copy the configs you want to your .minecraft/config folder (servers: server/config)
This configuration simply adds the ability to turn base materials into other base materials. You still have to craft whatever you are going to craft, but it allows the player to choose his path independently of what he finds, which in turn makes it more fun.Happy pathmaking!

1. Install Forge if you haven't already (Instructions) 2. Download the mod (In the download section) 3. Copy/Move the EM****.zip file to your %appdata%/.minecraft/mods folder 4. (Optional, Recommended) Install NEI to be able to see EV outside of the EnergyManipulators and EnergyContainers 5. (Optional) Edit EnergyManipulator.cfgto fit your needs, or add other configs for your modpack/mods.
Troubleshooting
Q: The game crashed after updating to a new version. A: Backup your "EnergyManipulator.cfg" config file (Only if you have customized it), delete it, run the game, then copy back the customized values from your backup (if you customized it, that is).
Q: The vanilla items do not have any Energy Value (EV). A: Delete your "EMEV.cfg" config file, then re-run the game.

Now i am pretty sure that i have found a bug when i have this mod and morph when i become a bat blaze ghast - any mob that has the flying ability - i no longer can use that flying ability when i take this mod out i can fly i think that maybe somewhere you may have some code on the FLYING RING and that is causing the issue :/ i <3 morph and this mod but i really love the flying ability so i hope that this will be fixed please contact me when you think that this is fixed

Wouldn't that just be a chest then?
I mean like the condenser from EE2, if you have no target it stores items but if you have an item in there it eats anything but the target item.
