Removed? I thought those orbs worked fine. Also, I apologize: I said in an email that I'd said something regarding Iron Oxide on the forum thread, but for some reason my post never wound up getting posted.

Cool looking mod, but the idea of most of them being one-use-only consumables is kinda hard for me to want to deal with. Perhaps, instead of having "uses," it'll have "charges," where when you craft the orb you infuse it with elemental energy, pre-packaged with one charge, but to add more charges (perhaps to a maximum of 16? less?) one would use a special block or use crafting recipes, for example to recharge your Nether Orb give it some Netherrack, an End Orb would take End Stone, and a Heat Orb would take Lava Buckets, and an Explosion Orb would require TNT? That way you wouldn't need more glass and wood every time you want to use an orb. And if they aren't currently stackable, would save inventory space too.
Also, some orb requests:
-Wind Orb: Knocks mobs away, perhaps have a flight mode?
-Hostile Orb: Summons hostile mobs to do your bidding! (Hostile creatures attack hostile mobs instead of you)
-Mining Orb: Has already been requested, perhaps make it like the Ore Magnet from Twilight Forest or the Destruction Catalyst from EE2?
-Creeper Orb: Big user-safe player-centered explosion!
-Tilling Orb: Tills the land around you, perhaps plant seeds from your inventory?
-Shield Orb: Summons a forcefield, keeping mobs out (or in...)
-Reaper Orb: Instantly kills all vanilla non-boss mobs within a short radius of you, instantly placing all drops into your inventory. Omega version comes packaged with looting? Very expensive.
-Compression Orb: Uses the EE3 system to compact stuff in your inventory, e.g. 4 cobble into flint, 4 flint into clay, 4 clay into clay block, 4 clay block into iron, 8 iron into gold, 4 gold into a diamond (8192 cobblestone total to make a diamond) Can also be used to transform stuff back by switching modes. Each activation does one step forwards or backwards to everything applicable in your inventory.

Look at my avatar. A few of you may know what this is from. Most will not. Probably because it shut down several years ago. But those were fun times while they lasted.

I have already suggested and textured the Mining Orb, and my suggestion included making it work like the Ore Magnet. If it has already been suggested, why post it again? In response to the first part of your post, there have already been complaints about how the recipes of the Orbs make them too cheap for their effects, and you're saying they should be even cheaper? Perhaps you should read the other posts. iN3rd says he is already working on new methods of creating Orbs.

Wow! I really loved your opinion. I will think about it. Thanks
