I have a little suggestion/question about this mod :
-Is there a menu ingame (the worldconfig menu) to change the differents value and if not will you make one ?
-In wedge players were unable to share their config so will you make a kind of button ingame to export/import values ?
-I noticed in wedge (for MC1.2.5) that mobs/some ruins were unable to spawn after block 128 or 127 so is there the same problem here ?
(i know btw that thoses problems can come from other mod...)
-Maybe bigger/higger caves
-SMP compatible ?
Sorry for my bad english and noob questions
PS: Finally a 256 map gen for mc1.5
Hello. I was wondering if I could use this mod in my very first modpack. I am hoping you let me use it. I am aiming for a great modpack development experience.

My i Put This In My mod Pack
Sure but you must give me and the original mod author credit and include a link to this forum thread wherever your modpack is available for download.
Settings for the random generation are hard to guess what they do and change the world. Did you simply tear out minecraft's parameters?
The "misc terrain parameters" and "perlin noise octaves", and keywords such as Add, Denom, Slope, Minor, Major, Lerp Factor, etc. These settings need research and documentation for what they do exactly. It would be nuts to trail and error all of these, unless someone has the time.
Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

This is what the original mod author called them, and really you can't describe them any more accurately. I have a work in progress guide in the OP that explains what some things do. Right now you just have to experiment with the different options.
Add:
1+1 => 2
Denom:
not sure, division?
slope:
not sure
lerp:
linear interpolation.
1, 2, 0.5 => 1.5
1, 3, 0.25 => 1.5
factor:
not sure, multiplication?

What do you mean? It comes with a config file that allows to tweak any variable you want from terrain generation to ore spawning.
Oh and they do spawn above 128.
Yes it does, I have both installed.
I haven't come across a mod yet that it doesn't jive with.

Glad you got it working

You'll have to wait for 1.6
No, In vanilla the chunks do no generate above 128. However you can build up to 256.
I wasn't able to find it

Denom = denominator, so yes division. Factor is pretty much multiplication. As I test each one I'll add details in the OP to help people.
