I
drifted away from using this mod for a while, but I'm curious: was this
option ever implemented? I don't see a mention of it in the changelog.
It was never implemented. Detecting a full inventory would be a little difficult with all the different fish types, and it would have to differentiate between a full stack and a stack with space remaining. The chest thing would be pretty complex and I didn't think it's within the scope of this mod. Perhaps you could achieve something similar with the Macro/Keybind mod. You could have a script dump all your fish onto the ground into a hopper or something.
I
was wondering if you would be willing to recompile the mod for
Minecraft 1.10.2? From what I've seen, mods for 1.9.4 work perfectly on
1.10.0 but do not load at all on 1.10.2. I would really love to use this
mod on the overcrowded server I play on where the afk-kicker can only
be bypassed by auto-fish (hacking is allowed there, so it's perfectly
fine for someone to AFK-auto-fish there)
How do I get it to work with 1.10? I don't see it in the mods loaded list after I put it in the mods folder. My luck I'm doing something wrong bare with me please.

I tried it on both 1.10 and 1.10.2 and it worked for me. Could you upload your liteloader log?
Looks like you need to update your LiteLoader, I should have thought of that first. The latest release added support for the "1.10.r1" mod version which works for both 1.10.2 and 1.10. Download the latest snapshot from the LiteLoader site and install the new version (or you could try checking for updates in-game, haven't personally used it before).
That worked now I kinda feel really stupid I shoulda checked that LOL ty for your time and patience. <3
Not a problem, glad you got it working. I've made a note about it in the original post as I'm sure many others who installed LiteLoader before today will run into this issue.

I was asking about the option to have it stop as soon as I had no empty slots in my inventory. Why would that need to differentiate between a full stack and a stack with space remaining? However, it's not really a big deal, since 1. after some experimentation in 1.9.4 creative mode (described in post #347) I determined that a small series of hoppers and chests would probably be sufficient for several hours of afk autofishing, at least with vanilla fishing loot tables, and 2. I'm trying to take a break for a few months from actually playing Minecraft. (we'll see if I really last that long )
In 1.7.10 I used to use Mr Crayfish's Furniture mod. When sitting, you wouldn't pick up the fish. My favorite way was to put a chair on a hopper with a solid block or wall behind me. Sit down and fish. Each catch would fall into the hopper below me.
I can run the hopper into a chest, multiple chests, or get complex, as I tend to do, and use a transport pipe (from one of many mods like buildcraft) connected to a series of filtering pipes to create an auto-sorter. Storage containers like the JABBA Mod barrels work great as they can be upgraded to hold a LOT. (I think 1024 Stacks of 64)
Regarding the autosorter, there are TONS of ways to do that.. even with vanilla minecraft, just search youtube.
I keep getting crashes using the latest liteloader snapshot with 1.10.2, can anyone help me?

Whenever clearlag activates it removes my fish bob and it stops working until i manually cast again. can you add something like autocast? when u holding rod and its not cast, it auto casts?
im really unable to use liteloader as it crashes my game with no crash report but with just forge alone it runs fine so is there a version that works with forge? im also using 1.7.10 at the moment
Ok Please help me somebody. I installed the one for minecraft 1.10 and its working I can use it but after like 5 minutes it the last fish it catches it does not throw the string or whatever back into the water. Its super annoying for afk fishing because to fix the problem you have to manually throw the string in the water. Please help is this only happening for me?
