Just found out about this mod from ChazOffTopic. Quick question, if you try a charged gauntlet on another mod's mobs... is that safe, as in will it at least not crash/corrupt the game? I understand you can't account for all mods out there, but in general, should that even be attempted, or is it more of a "just doesn't work" on modded mobs? Just curious.

It should just do nothing when you try to use it, however it shouldn't work on the ender dragon either but I've heard reports it crashes, so I'm not entirely sure.
It's possible in the future that forge will add a hook that will allow this to be used on any mob at all, they just added half of what I need in a recent update.
Looks good :0 Will there be more upcoming products from Creeper Inc.?
I've got my hands full working on Metallurgy, Atum, and I'm updating the Tree Spirit challenge mod. But I do have an idea for another product from Creeper Inc.
Hey there. Would there be any chance of a backwards port to 1.5.1 so that this can be used with some of those mods that haven't been updated yet to it?
And heres an idea. Have a tier 2 glove that can consume extra creepers as more charges then you can either expel them one by one or all at once for an extra large boom (and of course, a bigger shower of drops).
and I can't help imagine this working like DBZ Gogeta's Stardust breaker (throw some magic energy particles into them and kablewy!)
Or even a melee version which absorbs creeper essence and then you punch stuff with it and it makes a high knockback non-destructive explosion and sends enemies around you flying.
I would have made this work with 1.5.1, but this uses a forge hook that was added in 1.5.2, so it would take too much to work around it.
EDIT: I meant 1.5.2, not 1.5.2
EDIT: EDIT: how do I keep getting this wrong, I meant 1.5.1, not 1.5.2
You could make this mod a bit better if you made the first person and third person rendering of the gauntlet to look "3D"
An example of this is the Endersoul hand from mutant creatures mod, but all in all it's a nice mod

I would like to make a 3d model for it, but I'm not the best modeler, and I haven't worked with 3d item rendering yet.
Yeah, I don't know how to render or even code anything but i'm sure sometime in the near future you'll eventually learn how to,maybe you can contact ichun as he is really good with with the 3d models but I dunno

Help me! The evil is taking me away,
its pulling me into the darkness.
Please help me, if I go in there
I will never come back, the world
is slowly drifting away. All I can
see is the pain and sorrow in my
eyes. My tears are drying up. I'm
already gone....
could you possibly make it work for all vanilla mobs like an enderman glove that when you put the enderman into something it teleports away though it would a while to make you could release a new glove every once and awhile dont have too just asking
You don't need to open the .jar file up, just place it in the mods folder. If you already knew that and was just curious, the rebelkeithy folder is the base package for the mod source, it's used to keep it separate from the rest of the minecraft source while I'm working on it.

Roger. I'll just keep it in my sights for another time then. Just take those suggestions anyway.

Still not sure why, but forge makes minecraft the laggiest, most unstable thing I've ever seen, even just on its own with no other mods.
Still, bookmarked in case you come out with a modloader compatible version.
Thanks for the epic mod RebelKeith!
Unfortunately this would not be possible with modloader, Forge provides access to certain parts of the minecraft code that modloader doesn't.
If you post the crashlog I'll see if I can fix it.
seriously. COOL MOD

A double resolution texture pack that stays faithful to the original Minecraft textures.
