Will the blocks could again takes the textures of vines and things like that (like it was in 1.6.4/1.7.10 I think)?
Could you try to upgrade the Architecture Craft Blocks to your mod, cause they are very good (the mod isn't updated to 1.12.2).
ArchitectureBlocks is actually updated. I don't know why people cant Google, but the mod has had an updated release for about half a year now.

ArchitectureCraft, while conceptually similar, is totally its own separate thing. I'm not sure it would even be a good fit for Carpenter's Blocks to try to absorb ArchitectureCraft, even if that weren't a kinda uncool thing to do.
Sorry for lack of updates recently. Been working on slopes a bit tonight and made good progress on oblique faces:
Right now there are two (smallish) remaining bugs that need to be addressed.
Keep up the good work, sir!
I'd like to toss in a feature request for your consideration while it's still early. In 1.7.10, I found that carpenters' garage doors, skinned with glass panes, make excellent openable windows. But garage doors can only be skinned with solid blocks (glass panes being a notable exception to that rule). If there were a similar block that could be skinned with non-solid blocks such as fences or iron bars, or garage doors were able to be skinned with non-solid blocks, it would make an excellent portcullis, something I've never found a good way to do in Minecraft except with Bukkit plugins. (Though it is doable using vanishing blocks.)

Actually, I just checked, and the 1.7.10 version already supports iron bars for skinning the garage door - single player, no special bukkit plugins or anything. Fences aren't supported, but there might be a mod that adds a solid block with a side texture that looks similar enough to be usable for this (I though of suggesting IC2 scaffolds, but I tried them myself and it didn't look good)

Yeah, I think I recall iron bars working, but not fences. Iron bars just don't look solid enough for a good portcullis.
What kind of fences exactly? I'm having trouble visualizing vanilla-style fences as a cover.
I was thinking vanilla (and mod-added) fences actually. When you stack them multiple levels tall they look like heavy wooden cross-beams, just like a portcullis should. I used to have an old Bukkit server with a plugin that made "gates" of any material distinct from the wall it was in, and fences made great portcullises.
So, a new style of garage doors that looks like stacked fences?
Well, the simplest thing would be a way to skin garage doors with non-solid blocks such as fences. But yeah, an alternate garage-door-type block that had a fence-type model that could be skinned with whatever block you wanted to would be awesome. You could have a portcullis made of wooden beams, iron, stone, whatever took your fancy. Or to be really disturbing, skin it with Thaumcraft flesh blocks....

I like that idea. I wonder how good a portcullis made of glowstone would look. Alternatively, I could go for the seemingly-impossible sand portcullis.
Slow but going well. You can see some updates in the previous posts. He is making port to 1.12.X. Maybe Mineshopper repy you with some updates, he is active here

I don't think GregT is updating it though.
Looking forward to it. Thank you for all your efforts.

Please keep in mind 1.12.2 release and 1.10.2 release are not complete. Features are missing and nothing is really documented at the moment.
This is a known issue with Optifine. Try C 6 or lower instead. Look on Github for more information.

Can you fix this? I'm using Minecraft 1.12.2 version. I tried carpenter's block only but there are some still bugs hammer don't work properly.

Is this mod still being released for 1.10.2 or just 1.12.2 now cause on the website it only said 1.12.2 wip but you mention both said versions
thanks
Only being released for 1.12.2 right now. You can find the two older versions for 1.10.2 here
Per Mineshopper's link above, only proof-of-concept builds exist for 1.10.2 and 1.11.2.
