Side covers and tiles are pretty much this mods version of carpets. Mini-maps use static block values as far as I can tell -- they've never worked, and probably never will with this mods blocks. And if anything is invisible it's usually (always) Optifine. When using Optifine, only use the version of Forge that it's built for.
Found a reproducible bug with the sneak-middle mouse button scroll to change slope blocks in the hotbar. If you put something to the right of a slope in the hotbar, then scroll a few places to the right in your hotbar. Then you hold sneak and scroll the middle button quickly to the slope in the hotbar, and it changes the metadata of the block to the right of it as well. I was able to reliably change the types of planks and other blocks this way.
Thanks for the bug report. I do believe I've resolved the issue and have updated all the downloads. Version 3.3.2 also includes a routable fluid change that fixes a problem where buttons, levers, and similar blocks would prevent cacti from being placed next to them. Oh, and routable fluids is once again a simple enable/disable option so update your configs.
I found the same issue with Tinker's Construct and Chisel blocks. Has something to do with Optifine in my case. Uninstalled Optifine and everything looked fine.
On the newest version of forge, 1236, all the carpenter blocks are invisible. There are no errors and they all work fine, just are invisible. I know it's not the right forge build for it, but still.

The colored variants likely require some data from the tile entity. I can try to start adding support on a block-by-block basis, but it's not ideal... and I'm not even sure whether I would be successful.
Oddly enough, chisel glass works, which can make for some impressive effects.
Good work on the garage doors btw. Great addition Now if it had a sliding sound it'd be perfect. I've also always wondered why pretty much no-one ever makes a free standing ladder, or something that could be made to resemble that.
There are slabs in here, you have to use the Carpenter's Hammer on a Carpenter's Block to get them. I would like it if Mineshopper added in the slabs in the creative Carpenter's Blocks tab, however.

Maybe shift+right click with glass pane to make a carpenter's block glassy?
And shift+right click with hammer to change direction of collapsible block please. Would be awesome to be able to make a lava ceiling with just a less than a pixel thin glass holding the lava, or a tube lava lamp.
Very good mod and I use them for my building. This mod make me happy. I have one question, can you make garage door to be opened just from redstone signal?

You can use the hammer to tell the garage door to act like an iron door, meaning the only way to open it is with a redstone signal.
I find it useful as walls for hidden passages along a 2 thick wall.

Yeah But It's Too Much Work To Have To Use A Hammer. D:

Also, only regular clear glass works. Colored glass fails, sadly.
