Hey i just tested this out its an awesome mod. I wish i could use it on the Hunger Games Bukkit i play on (just to chill on the spawn zone lol) but it will return me to the spot were i jumped on the first place (i know its not your fault).
I tested this on sp and the only thing i dont like so far is that it will stop sprinting when i do the wall jump, probably cause i "crash" with the wall in the first place stopping it, but idk, it would be cooler if u could bounce and keep sprinting (i use the auto turn off so it allows me to do some smart jumps on the run)
I dont know if u could check this out, have it planned or some1 else would like it aswell, but i believe its a cool feature specially if a lot of us are using this for parkour (u have to keep the adrenaline rush lol)
A few minutes ago i saw some mod that wouldnt stop your sprinting when u collide with a block, i cant remember the name since i wasnt paying attention, but thats the key probably to make it work.
Aside from that, i loved it and will keep checking it (had some problems with the magic launcher not recognizing but it was just some text and i saw ure going to fix it aswell)

I like the idea, not sure I can prevent the player crashing into the wall though. If I have the time I might have a go.
By the way, everyone, I've been working an awful lot recently and hope to get an update out very soon, probably right after 1.6 comes out.

Some of the suggestions include adding blocks which can't be wall jumped off of, using the jump key instea of a custom one, and some more. They're all on the previous pages if you'd like to see them all.
And: A long time. I haven't been keeping track, but probably a good full day or two altogether (I didn't code it non-stop, of course).

Why not look around for an animation expert on the Forums?So you can have an animation for wall jumping?
Also it would be nice to be able to stick to walls.
Maybe you should keep developing into an all out better movements mod?

I don't really see why. I don't really think it will make much of a difference to the gameplay, so adding animation is not top of my agenda by any distance.

since 1.6 is coming out in two days I'm asking you guys for any final ideas you might have for me to add to the next release of this mod. I am hoping to release on the first or second day after 1.6 is out, so nothing that would be ridiculously complicated.
So if you have any ideas which you haven't already posted on the thread, please feel free to add them.

You are missing the thing, that you need to press F (at least I think it's F), to Wall-Jump

You have to press whatever key you have set for wall jumping in your controls, or if you have the option enabled use the jump key.
Too bad you can't go MegaMan (Jump on 1 wall mutiple times)

Well you can configure it either way, so there shouldn't be a problem.
