This is a great mod! Quite innovative! Kudos! Maybe you could do the same for other hocks like the Chest! Example: When you open a chest, the lid opens, and you could actually see the items in the chest. Maybe the Dispenser too!
Look at the post near the bottom of the page. It uses a nasty amount of reflection, which can and likely will break with updates, but should be useful.
I loved this mod... my only issue is that i love my resource packs q-q this doesn't handle them as it is its own block. 5 star mod here 2 star player is me

Why not make a feature that permits to put into the furnace simply by right click ores, coal, meat etc ?
Like in Bibliocraft, where you can put books in the shelves without using a GUI ?
And enable tha gained XP when taking material with shift-right click.
Minecraft 1.7.10 is reporting that I have version 1.2 even though I have 1.3a in my mods folder. Perhaps forgot to update internal version #.
Also, why not leave the vanilla furnace in and change your recipe to something different than the vanilla furnace. Like maybe 8 smooth stone instead of cobblestone or maybe throw a dirt block in there for one of the blocks.
I like the mod, but I do not like how it overrides the vanilla furnace. Sometimes I like to set up a giant wall of furnaces to smelt a lot of blocks fast and making a giant wall of 3D furnaces takes more system resources.
Yeah, or you could upgrade the vanilla furnace to a 3D furnace by attaching a certain item to it.
Sounds cool. I also had another idea. You could keep the vanilla recipe and then run a furnace through another crafting cycle to create the 3D furnace. Kid of like how Tinker's Construct handles crafting tables.
