I did put the instructions into steps... I'll have another go at redoing them though.
EDIT: I have redone the installation instructions, are they easier to follow?

I have a clean minecraft.jar and simply add the files from the download but get a black screen when starting minecraft with the mod installed. This is my second night trying too install this mod as it looks amazing and would be a great video.

Delete the META-INF folder inside your minecraft.jar. Sorry, forgot to put it on the main post. I'll put it there now.

Oooh, looks cool. Definitely want to muck around with this one in the future. Though, I have to ask - wombat pick-axes? You read Digger?

I don't even no what Digger is... so no. Although seeing as wombats are good at digging, I thought I might as well make Wombat Nail Pickaxes.

Yes, several people have. It's working for me, too. And you definitely deleted META-INF?

Hey I am in the making of my own youtube channel and i thought that this would be a great mod to start off my mod showcase series. I followed all of the instructions but when i started up minecraft none of the new features were present in the game... i am using a macbook pro (if that makes a difference). Can you please help me?

I am not certain that the mod works with mac, as I don't have one. Which installation did you choose?

All spawn eggs and items included in the mod can be obtained from the creative mode menu. Spawn eggs are in the misc section, and most of the other items are in the materials section.

well, i'm bot Australian but i love Australian animals, great idea but can't play it because, i need to delete the other mods witch i don't want to do, can you fix that please?

That is most likely because you are using forge mods. I currently do not have a forge version of the mod, although I plan to learn forge as soon as I can.

At the moment, no. However, I realise that forge compatibility is the feature most wanted for this mod, so I plan to add forge compatibility soon.

NOTE: For all the people waiting for the next update, or waiting for forge compatibility, I have started a poll so you can choose whether you want to wait longer and have forge compatibility, or not wait as long, and not have forge compatibility.
