This mod adds 4 types of helmets that allow one to breath underwater for longer periods of time by giving you more air once your breath goes down to 0!
The Gear
Snorkel (increases your air capacity by 1.5)
The only gear type that doesn't require a Air Compressor to refill.
Scuba Helmet (Single[3x air] or Double Tank[6x air])
Aqualis Helm (requires Thaumcraft 3 to be installed)
OTHER STUFF Air Compressor
This nifty little machine will restore the air within your gear simply by right clicking it with your gear or right clicking it with your gear on. The only thing required for this thing to work is a redstone signal.
Coral (Pink)
This form of underwater life will generate randomly in or near water. They give off light and will also give off coral fragments when mined up.
Coral Tools(Pickaxe, Shovel, and Sword)
Tools made out of the Coral Fragments mentioned earlier. They have the same strength as Iron Tools, but have better durability and have improved efficiency when in the water. The crafting recipe is the same as regular tools, just with Coral Fragments
Recipes
Snorkel
ADS: Tritonia Helm
Scuba Helmet
Single Air Tank
Double Air Tank
Air Tank
2x Air Tank
Air Compressor

Ok, gave this mod a shot, and here's the quick overview.
The Scuba Tanks work exactly as promised, and that alone makes it awesome.
Used in conjunction with the lantern mod, this gets pretty darned ridiculous, as you now have light underwater, albeit with a max 10 minute duration.
There is one major complaint I have, there is no visual indicator of precisely how much air is left in your tank, which can be terribly vexing if you're trying to use it to mine or do work under water.
But overall, excellent mod, well done.
Back to my original statements:
If the duration was configurable, that'd be awesome.
The current durations are just woefully insufficient for any meaningful work to get done underwater.
The Tritonia helm needs a refillable or fuelable tank, or even better, to have to be attached to a surface level support vehicle that must be kept fueled (like a furnace) to keep the attached diver in air.
Either way, this is already going onto my server, it's just too useful and well-done to leave out. The seas are finally accessible.
For instance;
Snorkel gives you 1.5x Normal Underwater Breath (N.U.
Tritonia = 2x N.U.B
Scuba Single Air Tank = 3x N.U.B
Scuba Double Air Tank = 6x N.U.B
Edit :(I noticed that this was all explained in the main post AFTER I tested and came back to write the review)
Simple and straight to the point. No need for extra nonsense
Cons
Though you know how long you have, without some type of meter you find yourself losing track of how much air you have left.
Not compatible with tropicraft (though I believe its tropicraft's issue)
(This isn't really a con xP)
Huds would be nice ^.^ (I was expecting some type of overlay)
In Conclusion
The mod is done really well and fits everything that is needed for this type of mod. However it still needs just a bit more polish ^.^
Very good Job Lomeli12
Edit: I added this to my modded server and it is currently not working, please anyone confirm this is true for the mod generally or if I'm having a confliction
I hope this may help anyone wondering about the mod

Next update will have configurable durations(pretty simple to do, don't know why I didn't include it). As for the refuelable tank, I was planing to allow you to breath in air from an air tank when you have the Tritonia(1 full bar with the single tank, 1.5 with the double tank) or swap tanks with the scuba(2 bars with the single tank, 4 for the double). Another idea I've had in my head is to have this mod compatible with BuildCraft make a machine that will pump air(with an engine) to you if you have the Tritonia, with the better engines providing more air.
Not compatible with tropicraft (though I believe its tropicraft's issue)
Edit: I added this to my modded server and it is currently not working, please anyone confirm this is true for the mod generally or if I'm having a confliction

For both of these please give me the Forge log. However, if I had to guess, the Tropicraft thing is just and ID conflict considering how huge the mod is. You can go into the config and change any IDs that are screwing things up.
Anyway, thanks for all the support and constructive criticism. To be honest, I only worked on this mod for about 5 hours, so I thought it'd be sloppy and wouldn't receive this much positive attention. I will probably put a list of planed features up there soon, just to let you guys know what to expect.

LegendaryKoala, that's be all you.
I think the buildcraft thing is an excellent idea, especially if you can find some method of including a finite length hose that can connect it to a surface engine. Or maybe a process like the moistener only it produces a substance that, when put in a portable suit, will generate air... Whatever it is, I suggest making the barrier for entry to extended underwater work rather high, but moderately easy to reproduce once you get there. There's a lot of processes available to play with in Buildcraft, or just Forestry for that matter.
Another potential if you're going that way is to create a Thaumically powered version (Thaumcraft compatibility).

Thaumcraft? That just gave me an excellent idea. Similar to my Buildcraft idea, you can fill your Crucible with Aura aspect, and each 3 Aura aspects give you 1 full bar of air.
Anyway, I just finished the Config for the amount of air and a message will display each time you use up some air, will upload the new version soon.
Better but similar... Give the Thaumic diving suit a crucible like air tank, in a GUI similar to a buildcraft engine.
You throw in things that gives you aspects, each 3 Aura aspects = 1 bar of air...
The rest burn off as flux off your tank.
That actually sounds pretty good. I'm also thinking that being near a node will also give you more air, but will increase the amount of flux the helm gives up.
Well, i uploaded version 1.1 with configurable amounts of Air. Note on the number of uses, put 2x the number of uses you want on each item. For example, the Scuba(single tank) has 3 uses, but the config has 6. This is due to the ArmorTick event that handles the air thing running Uses++; twice(not sure why, but not really a problem).

I'm pretty ecstatic that you showcased my mod...and that you pronounced my username correctly (a surprisingly large number of people say Lo-mel-lie). Thank.
maybe add some coral.
ive looked everywhere for coral mod but they really outdated and think adding coral would fit nicely.
coral would work like an underwater farm
Algaecraft and Tropiccraft both incorporate coral however I would agree that this mod should add two things to enhance underwater life (which i rarely seen).
Normally I would rather mods stay small and to the point. However underwater life fits the theme of diving gear ^.^
Suggestions:
1. Fish, Fish clusters (Fish that swim in groups)
2. Coral Reef (But currently any mod that incorporates coral has the same thing but in a different color or shape~ lets add some variance )
3. Underwater speed. (Lastly there is a need to move a bit faster underwater. *shrug* its possible xP)
Thats it as for the log, there are no id conflicts (I sort those myself before I put the mod in) as well as I see no real errors server side but my server log is quite long. You'll need to give me some time to look through it multiple times. ^.^
Made a mod review!!
Can you put this on the spotlight section? Thanks!!
That was pretty hilarious. I quite enjoyed it.
Also about the Scuba Double Air Tank. The reason it didn't work is because the armor checks if the user is wet or not. If the user is dry(not in water), the number of times used goes to 0. This came with the unexpected, but somewhat helpful side-effect, of the number of uses left being shared amongst helms the user is carrying. I say helpful because it means the player can't cheat by constantly changing out helmets, though it still causes a problem if they haven't even used the other helmet.
I just tested it out with Tropicraft and it worked perfectly fine for me.
Single player or multiplayer. And it loads fine but I can't breathe underwater. If you would like I could show you exactly what I mean but you'd need to speak with me because I'm working on something thats not very...common ^.^
Regardless I'll figure out more about the issue and get back to you with physical evidence before anything else.

Both, and it works for both in my test and LunariusH claims to have no trouble on his server. But as you doing something, as you put it, "not very common", I can't really help. I can still try though.
