I'm so close to finishing a beta build I just got to tackle this one rather big bug. ONLY ONE! Anyway, I need some help from the people who have compiled a mod and re-obfuscated it. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do that with the new forge gradlew stuff. I can make it re-compile the workspace but it never re-obfuscate it.

Well assuming that you have the gradle workspace setup like recommended then from my experience all you should need to do is run "gradlew build" from the forge directory. The obfucated mod should be in "build\libs". The trickiest part has been the number of times I accidently nuked a workspace when setting it up.

I don't know how something that's supposed to be more automated then the last stuff is so much more complicated to use. The jar in the libs directory is not obfuscated to that probably means I screwed up the set-up. I really hate this new system.

Should I just make this into my own mod for logistic pipes and post it here (another thread of course)? I like what I did there and I'm sure other people would like it.
I have the mod compiled and it works fine on the client side. No problems. On the server side, it crashes. It seams like every time I re-compile the mod it crashes in different places.
I just updated the 1.6.4 version of the mod to the 1.7 stuff. I did some changes to then 1.7 version that I really liked (the're technical) so I decided to port the thing back over to 1.6.4. I'll try fixing 1.7 another time tomorrow.
Two notable changes:
The barrels no longer 'instantly' update when you click them, it waits for the server to respond. This fixes some abnormalities that some will find. It's easy to change back if you guy's don't like the latency that new stuff gives you.
I have updated the networking code to only send barrel count details when it can so it's easier to compress. Your servers will run faster, and it fixes some more abnormalities.
I took a break off modding for a bit now I'v started back up. I upgraded my internet to a unlimited package while I was away. My ISP just turned to some outrageous pricing after I did the switch. Look at their lowest package:
I just decided to share that because I know you Americans will laugh at Canadian internet.
Dude, as a Canadian I get unlimited bandwidth at 30mbs on cable wires for that price!
This mod works in Minecraft 1.6.4, but when I try to put it in my modpack, Mage's Supply, it won't work. Minecraft loads, but then justs decides to quit and turn off. I tried both downloads, any help?

No help without the stacktrace or 'crash report'. On your minecraft launcher, set the profile you're using to not turn off the launcher when the game starts. Then switch to the 'development console' tab on the top of the launcher. When the game crashed copy the text inside that console and paste it here (put in it spoilers)
Hi. I encountered the following dupe bug on multiplayer. When i break a barrel with 64 stacks of wood, and add all the items that spilled onto the floor into a second, empty, barrel; i end up with 10 stacks of wood in my inventory. So i went from 64 stacks to 74 stacks of wood. Works for any item.
Version used: Barrels 3.4 - 1.6.4.jar
That's fixed with version 3.4.1. I updated 1.7.2 and 1.6.4 versions of minecraft. Also there was a small derp with crafting recipes with the 1.6.4 version. That's fixed (if it still isn't, regenerate your configuration file)
I have installed 3.4.1 on both server and client, and refreshed the configuration files. The problem persists. These two lines in barrels.cfg differ from the default generated ones, as per my preferences:
I'll look at it some more tomorrow, I don't know why it's persisting... Anyway for anyone interested: maybe I should add a creative barrel, one that stores and provides infinite items. Would anyone be interested in that?
I like it how every one is so but hurt by something so simple, it's kinda sad to be brutally honest
and unlike Factorization, this mod seems like it would be easier to update, meaning it'll be updated faster then Factorization. So if u want barrels in minecraft, then you can get this mod and not be stuck on 1.6.4 because Factorization isn't updated. Dont get me wrong I do really like Factorization, but unless the mod creator of Factorization isn't okay with it(not like it matters much) then there is no point in getting P.Oed on something so simple.
Hi, this forum is all tl;dr, but I got to say, love your mod, its perfect!. Copy the factorization barrels, genius. I also don't need those other things in the mod. I got some problems with my server, though. We got a serious iron shortage, and although it is reasonable to make barrels with iron I guess, (the factorization ones JUST use wood) I really can't get into barrels as early as I'd like. However, I'm flooded with copper and tin. Any chance you could add some copper ones, and be compatible?
Gee thanks, I kinda wanted to make copper barrels and iron barrels, I can't figure out this modding thing yet though. Hope you get your account back soon I'll report you like you wanted.

Anyway I have the download up, it's exactly the same as the 1.6.4 version except ported to 1.7. Enjoy!
