The only thing i can suggest, is adding more information about the mod in the op. Is it a forge mod, and for what what version if so? What version is this compatible with? Is there a config file to change item id's? etc, etc Once this information was posted i firmly believe that this mod will get loads more attention and downloads. Seems so terribly easy and functional, its a must have!!
So yeah, only thing stopping me from downloading this is, what version of forge is this compatible with?
Everyone, I am very sorry about the lighting bug, it was due to a last minute change! It has been fixed now, thank you for your patience. And ITrAnEI thank you for the textures I will compare them to a few others that have been submitted.
This is cool, but it makes torches useless. It would be cool if you implemented some kind of electricity to the flashlight, because right now, at least in my opinion, it's overpowered. Or maybe use the Universal Electricity Mod API. It's up to you. Really cool mod though, there has been other mods like this, but they are outdated now.
Yea, I was thinking about using universal electricity in some way, any suggestions on the topic would be great

Forge 6.6.0, and 6.5.0 (I think). Sorry about that.
Here's video made by me, i hope you like it, it's short i now but it's pretty self explanatory, i hope you will keep updateing this mod cuz it's awsome +1
i haven't installed this mod yet but i can tell it's good. I could see slender maps made with this mod. Suggestion: add a shake flashlight (hold right click to turn on/off) that last forever and batteries for the flashlight.

Thanks, and cool idea. If someone could do slender map with this that would be awesome!

I do believe it's slightly overpowered, but it does not make torches useless. Torches light up an area forever, the flashlight only where you are and if you hold it. So, while mining you're in the dark, while placing blocks you're in the dark, etc.
To fix the overpoweredness, make it so you need to have batteries to run the flash light and for a set amount of time.
