If you are still using the old Galacticraft, the materials required to create a space station depend on the prerequisite mod you installed, eitherIndustrialCraft 2, Thermal Expansion or Basic Components.
I've been having a hell of a time finding the meteorites to get meteoric iron. Even when I hear the explosions, I can never seem to find them. 3 hours last night, I found 3 pieces of the stuff...
... consider including a compass (recipe to include a single piece of meteoric iron) to locate the nearest meteorite.
Also, my night vision does not work as expected on the moon - everything turns black. Is that normal?
Is it possible to introduce an blacklist/whitelist option in the config for suffocation on certain mobs?
I'd like to make Mutant Creatures spawn in Galacticraft dimensions, but this sadly isn't practical without some way to disable suffocation damage on mobs.

Oh YES THIS! I would love to be able to use NPCs in my buildings, like astronauts repairing things outside.
I had a good look through the change logs for the latest builds as I was looking for any information relating to the forge fluid changes but I couldn't see anything.
I don't understand your question @jasonsaggers. What forge fluid changes are you talking about? If this is related to a reported issue
or prior discussion, please provide a link.
With Forge build 1.7.10-10.13.3.1355 there was a major change in fluids which broke all mods that deal with fluids, mods like railcraft, thermal expansion, extra utilities, abyssalcraft and about 30 other mods that I use have all updated and require at least forge 1355 to even load.
Since your mod has oil. You know what I tested it myself and everything is good.
So just ignore me and keep making this amazing mod

In Galacticraft we aim to be as widely compatible as possible, because we know that some players / servers are locked on to earlier versions of Forge for whatever reason. Indeed, Galacticraft 3 is dual compatible with Minecraft 1.7.2 and 1.7.10. Minecraft 1.7.2 is obviously using a way older version of Forge, that's 1147.
So, players don't need to worry about this.
If Forge 1355 needs something different then the next update of Galacticraft will be made dual-compatible with both older and latest versions of Forge. In fact, on a quick review of our code, everything is looking OK already - Forge 1355 didn't make any changes which break Galacticraft.
Hey, I've got a question. Is the rocketship requied in order to get to space, or can you get there just by going high enough? Because I really want to build a space elevator.

That sounds like a mob ID conflict.
1. Which version of Galacticraft are you using? If not the latest, please try updating to the latest
2. If there are still problems, post up your full fml-client-latest.log somewhere (e.g. Pastebin) for us to take a look at
I'm also having this problem with the Evolved Creeper Boss spawning in overworld with it's health bar constantly at the top of the screen. I'm using the latest version of Galacticraft with Forge 1.7.10.
I am not sure where the fml-client-latest.log is located at, but these are the mods that I am using:
Long time no sharing my Galacticraft videos here... there you go:
Note: It's just "glitch" exploit for fun. It's not intended to work like that for normal players, uh I mean, normal worlds. Just an unintended behavior and nothing else.

Carefully check that the player does not have a mod which is missing on the server - this is the most likely reason.
Quite a few mods were added and removed as we tested the server. Is there a way to completely remove a mod from the server history? Currently whenever someone joins, it says attempting to join with missing mods, but aside from that everything works fine (since the mod is not in the server mods folder anymore and the server just skips over it). I also went in and deleted old mod config files, but I'm not sure I got all of them or if that's all I need to do to completely remove it.
Definitely an Optifine issue: http://www.optifine.net/changelog?f=OptiFine_1.7.10_HD_B6.jar
These MultiMC + Optifine crashes are nothing to do with Galacticraft, anyhow it's fixed in Optifine B6.

The wiki has materials lists for Galacticraft 1 and 2, but not 3:

Rocket ship is required. Also, you can't build above the build limit which is y = 256, and space is way higher than that.
