is glass powder one of those features? because i can't seem to figure out how i'm supposed to force grind a flask to get it when hitting the bottle picks it back up.
this is also blocking off half the upgrades because it's seemingly unobtainable without ic2. how do i get glass powder?
You aren't supposed to force grind it at all. That's not how you get glass powder.
You need a force flask, and you need to severely weaken, but NOT kill, a creeper, to the point that you can bottle it. You MUST NOT use a Bane weapon on the creeper in question. Weaken a non-baned creeper, bottle it before it explodes, and it will explode in the flask, leaving you with glass powder.

i literally just figured that out. not sure how i would have without watching some of bluedart's spotlight videos from 5 months ago.

There once was a wise man out with tnt. the creepers swarmed in with numbers unseen. he placed it and armed it with his trusty redstone. now, to this day, creepers leave steve alone.

Yeah, I'll grant that the "how to get it" hint for glass powder is... even more cryptic than most. It's one of those things that makes sense in hindsight.

You can use a force furnace with a grinding core on a mob that isnt a creaper in a bottle and it will sometimes make glass powder and will make mob chunks. Its an easier way then hunting creapers.
Are you changing the right config file? The config moved into the Dartcraft folder in the latest version.
that sounds like something i would miss. now i just feel silly.

Given that there are 75+ pages, i'm not going to wade trough them, and instead will bluntly ask.
Is there a way to move the DartCraft UI in any way? I hate having it in the upper left corner, especially since it gets in the way of the F3 menu...
I don't like that either but i found you can change the config option called "zelda hud" to false. it defaults to true. other than that, yes it does need a way to move it or just add the bars to the normal place instead of trying to overhaul the hud.
also, it might not hurt to at least read the page you are posting on.

You need to use Ic2 371 for Dartcraft, a change in the newer versions broke it (recycler whitelist possibly?)
recycler whitelist/blacklist has been around for a long time

Tell me, BlueDart, would it be possible for you to make a Thermal Expansion dynamo that runs on Liquid Force? Or maybe I should ask if you are GOING to make one...
Also, is there a faster way to refill my Force Tools' internal tank-thing? Buckets... Meh, they WORK, but I'd prefer something easier.
Item cards in force bags is what you are looking for. Right click the card in your hotbar to open a gui to config what the bag sucks in. You need to left click to place the item and a right click to get the yellow arrow to show indicating its going to pull that item in. Then place it inside your force bag. Poof customized looting bag. You can also hold shift and right click a chest to empty only the items on the item card that are set to be sucked in.
Awesome! Thanks for the explanation, should definitely help with my pack development.
Bluedart! Keep up the great work AND I love following your Let's Play.
Just a quick question: When using the Camera Studio mod (in Third Person view mode) I get the "Out of Mana" failure sound playing roughly every 12 seconds while the camera mod is doing its thing. Any way to stop that?
Alright, I tried searching this thread and I tried searching google. Neither seems to have an answer for my little issue.
I am using DartCraft v0.2.15
I have discovered an error where a Force Pack will vanish with ALL of it's contents.
I will test later tonight to see if it is INTENTIONALLY repeatable.
The problem is as follows:
1) Open the Force Pack
2) Remove an item and put it in my inventory
3) Close the Force Pack
4) Realize that I wanted the item on my hotbar and quickly open my inventory via pressing "E"
5) Pick up the Force Pack from the hotbar and place it in inventory
6) Pick up the item and place it in the hotbar (Yes, in the exact space where the Force Pack was)
7) Use the item in question
8) Open my inventory by pressing "E"
- The intent is to switch the item for the Force Pack so that I can put the item back in the Force Pack
9) Realize that the item is no longer in my hotbar but is now being held by my mouse cursor (without me picking it up) and now looks like the Force Pack
10) Place the item in my inventory
- At this moment two things happen simultaneously, the Force Pack vanishes with all of its contents, and the item returns to its correct sprite
The item in question this time around was a "Safari Net (Single Use)" from Minefactory Reloaded 2. I have had this error happen before but do not recall what the item was that I was using. I thought that it was a fluke the first time, but.....losing an expensive remote mining setup (QuarryPlus, PumpPlus, TE Dynamos, Ender Chests, Ender Tanks, and all supporting conduits) has opened my eyes to this being a recurring problem.
I will update this post later with more information after I have had a chance to test this issue. I may or may not be able to get a FML log read out as it does not cause a crash and this happened on a server that runs 24/7. The server IS running a moderately sized mod pack.
I just want to know if this problem has been reported before. As I said I could not find any reports of it, and it was not on the "Known Bugs" section in the OP. I want to know if this is fixable/avoidable. And yes I know that I could "just not use the force packs", but that seems kinda opposite of the intent doesn't it?
I'm being told dartcraft will not work with IC2 builds higher then 371 once you build dartcraft machines (force grinder for example). There is a few people posting on tracker about this. just wanted stop by and watch for update new or if this is the real issue.

The blacklist has been around for a long time, but the whitelist was only added in build 372.

If I'm rude to you, just tell me. Don't take it too personally. Well, unless you were being stupid. If you were, DO take it personally.
