Does anyone know a fix for these kind of rendering bugs? Many of my shelves, armor stands, and other blocks added by Bibliocraft sometimes have these issues and it's bugging my wife and I. I've tried removing Optifine, however these render issues still appear. Please let me know if I'm missing something! Thank you.

Maybe I'm a bumbling idiot, but I don't see the problem. What's wrong, exactly?

Sorry I wasn't very clear either. See the grey squares in the item shelf and the red part of the witchery spinning wheel? those are normally transparent. Lately items on shelves, armor on armor stands, swords on pedestals, and many other things wig out with this annoying graphical error where things either turn into black or grey squares depending on which direction you look at it from. It blinks back and forth as you walk and it's very annoying. We've tried removing optifine and also setting everything in the mod to force fast rendering. Nothing is helping, and Im wondering if anyone has had this experience that has plagued me and my wife with this mod for as long as I can remember.

The issue might be with the items that you are trying to display. They might not be fully supported. Report the issue on the GitHub so it gets fixed: https://github.com/Nuchaz/BiblioCraft/issues
I know 1.7.10 most likely isn't supported anymore, but for some reason I cannot connect desks by sneak-right-clicking. It simply rotates the desk now. Any idea why it won't work? Using 1.7.10 and Bibliocraft 1.11.5 along with the current recommended 1.7.10 Forge.
Nvm, seems it only works on framed desks, which really sucks.

Crash with Somnia mod in 1.7.10
This mod crashes with Somnia mod in the 1.7.10 version. I tested with only these two mods installed. The following crash occurs when it tries to render anything (a torch in this case) in the shelf. Similar errors occurs with most stuff that has to render something in this mod, for example, frames. Uninstalling somnia mod makes the mod work fine.
Can you solve it for the 1.7.10 version? Or is there any workaround for this? I need both of these mods installed so my feelings won't be hurt.
EDIT: Solved it! Installed a previous version of Somnia mod (1.3.1.16) and it works perfectly now!

But is there a chance or does anybody know if there will be a version that supports 1.9?
I am sure there is a version of 1.10.2 but something prevents Nuchaz from releasing the mod 1.10.2. its a bug in Forge which hasn't fixed yet. so I am sure you can use 1.10.2 mod in a 1.9.4 version... but there is no version 1.9 planned as far as I know.
BiblioCraft v2.1.0 for Minecraft v1.9.4 and BiblioCraft v2.2.0 for Minecraft v1.10.2 has been released! I just posted it on my website, www.bibliocraftmod.com.

Using JEI i have extreme fps drops while viewing bibliocraft items. Happens with tinker stuff too but with bibliocraft its severe.
There are many mods that are having this issue. I think it's a JEI issue more than a Bibliocraft issue. It might be how JEI renders items choosing to use the 3D render over a 2D render.
I just updated BIblioCraft and tried to fix the render slowdown issue with JEI and item rendering. I built a model cache system and it seems to be about 10x faster. It was an issue for me too, the performance hit was pretty dramatic. I did a couple other fixes and started work tword a version for Minecraft v1.11.x as well and that is going pretty smooth. No estimate when that will be ready, but I don't expect any major issues like I had moving to 1.9+.
Oh sweet baby jesus, YES!
Finally, another mod that adds NICE LOOKING SHELVES.

No. Not sure how that's related though.

Does anyone know if theres a picture limit to the custom painting pack?
I am sure there is a version of 1.10.2 but something prevents Nuchaz from releasing the mod 1.10.2. its a bug in Forge which hasn't fixed yet. so I am sure you can use 1.10.2 mod in a 1.9.4 version... but there is no version 1.9 planned as far as I know.
1.9 and 1.10 he said on his twitter will be out very soon then on to 1.11 so yes coming soon via his twitter!
BiblioCraft v2.1.0 for Minecraft v1.9.4 and BiblioCraft v2.2.0 for Minecraft v1.10.2 has been released! I just posted it on my website, www.bibliocraftmod.com.
AWESOME!
BOOM!!! YEAH YEAH YEAH!!
Thanks for continuing this great work!
GREAT!
Yes. Sincerely, Thank you!
