Try updating MCF, build 1024 is from like 11 updates ago for the 1.7.2 MCF
I am using MCF build 10.12.0.1127 and no problems, I have ArchimediesShips but not Battlegear2, so not sure if that makes a difference.
I need to update MCF myself as 1147 is the latest 1.7.2 build available
Nice call! Updated firge, and almins song items are as they should be. Thanks
is it possible that i can use an option where i can use any resource pack which can change the block/items in bilbiocraft's appearance..
I mean if i use resource pack.. then the default texture pack of these item/block of bibliocraft will be changed to the resource pack i selected.. so is it possible that i can do that??? just asking? because there is no texture pack/resource pack support for this mod.. :'(
Read post one page one, it says "Check the website for more details." andit gives a link to the main website
There is a section there ( on the MAIN WEB SITE ) marked copyright which has all of the info on mod packs.
for some reason i can't get on the site to download the mod. also since biomes-o-plenty has updated to 1.7.10 is there a chance of seeing the addon for it updated?

Nuchaz Do you think I could please put this mod in a modpack i'm making? ill do anything!
*Sigh* I gave you an answer a while back. If your so willing to do anything then read the dang op or at the very least read the reply to your previous post. Or even read the current page. It really isn't that difficult.

I agree, I have also answered you before, why not read the post 2 post above the one I am quoting, the same question was answered there.
An Atlas feature love the idea, hope it is not to extreme on trying to code.
I hope its not too extreme either. It might be easier than I think, hopefully. I want to start experimenting and figuring it out as soon as I do some BiblioWoods stuff.
This may be requested already, but here is an idea I am requesting: a Minecraftian Calender. My thinking is that it would have 8 days in a week (corresponding to phases of the moon), 8 weeks in a month, and 8 months in a year. The calender would keep track of the days so that, for instance, one could keep a journal using dates that make more sense, or maybe a hardcore player could keep track of how long he has been stuck in this hole. I don't know how hard this would be to implement, but I hope it would not be difficult.
I really like the mod, keep up the good work!
+1 for the Solstice mod. Hopefully that will be something that gets maintained and updated. It doesn't look like its actually been touched since the modjam like 2 months ago.
I do like the idea of having a calendar, but I feel like seasons and such are something that would really need to be added, like the Solstice mod is doing, or like TerraFirmaCraft, so make a calendar really useful. Seasons and changes like that are really outside the scope of BiblioCraft. I could see maybe keeping a day count for journals. Maybe I could add like a button in the big book that was a date and time stamp kind of thing that basically wrote the current day and time of (minecraft) day. Something like that seems reasonable. I'll have to think on that more sometime.

Actually, as of the 1.7.4 release that I just did yesterday, you can do this now. It doesn't work with the table or desk, but the other wood blocks all support it now. So make sure your on Minecraft v1.7.10 w/ 1.7.4 and any resource pack you load up that replaces the vanilla wood planks will also texture the BiblioCraft blocks.
This is on by default and it did change the look of some of the blocks slightly, but if you wanted to disable this feature and use the old texture maps (in the case maybe you could be using a texture pack that did my old blocks on texture sheets, which does give the artist more control) you can set "useTextureMaps" to true in the BiblioCraft.cfg config file. In the future I will take advantage of the in-game config editor that was just added to forge so this can be changed in game.

Indeed there is. If you check my twitter, I even tweeted a preview of all the bookcases from BiblioWoods BoP edition working in 1.7.10. I've made a bit more progress and got more stuff in, but still a bit to go. I am hoping I can get a BiblioWoods BoP edition release out by next week if all goes well. I think Natura has a 1.7.10 version out too, or at least a beta, which I'll likely look into that after the BoiP edition release. I plan to do one at a time and release them as I go and as the other mods get updated to 1.7.10.
Maybe I need to put a link to my mod pack policy in big bold letters in the OP or something, lol.

"useTextureMaps" u mean useTextureSheet?? i found it in config... so if i set it to "true" so it would use any resourcepack i select on the bibliocraft block/item? i wanted to know if this is correct or not.. i am not sure.. so let me know if i am wrong or not.
and i will looking forward to use BOP bibliowood "addon"..
EDIT: ah i see. that i was correct... i can see the resource pack i selected is being used on chair.. i can see its appearance.. but i also noticed that table, shelves, or label are not applied.. well can u also make it apply to these blocks as well. table, shelves, or label? and is it also possible for u to use the resource pack to have it apply to the books i am going put "books" on the shelves? i can see the books that they are in default texture pack.
Yeah, I meant the "useTextureSheet", but that is only to force them to use the old texture sheets. To use standard planks from a resource pack, it needs to be set to "false", which is default now.
As far as the books, you would have to have a texture pack that supported those specifically since textures like that don't exist in vanilla.

Ah got it.. i understand now. I will set the correct setting in config.. and see how it goes.. i will let u know.
Will fellow players who play 1.6.4 version of minecraft be able to enjoy the new additions to this mod in a form of a backport? Pretty please
In short, from previous post by Nuchaz. NO
He and other Mod makers all say the same thing. That the coding difference between 1.6.4 and 1.7..x is to different and to time consuming for them to keep switching back and forth. It would use up to much time and effort, that they all want to use improving their Mods.

I see.. i can see all of the shelves in the resource pack style.. and yup.. i corrected the settings in the config.. and thank you for clearing it up. i understand how they worked..

Are you planning on doing this for the 1.7.2 version as well? Or would you possibly consider doing it, maybe?? I was very excited to see this addition, as it's something I've wanted for AGES, but trying to use it in 1.7.2 just kept crashing
