This isn't really a bug-report, as more of a feature suggestion.
In your config, this option exists to fix a rendering issue to work around an OptiFine bug:
B:IsOptifineInstalled=false
This shouldn't be necessary, as you can check to see if a class provided by OptiFine exists, and test if its loaded, if OptiFine is loaded, enable the render workaround, else disable it.
The only reason I suggest this is for modpack authors such as myself, don't distribute OptiFine (not permitted) so this config is disabled. But if a user installs OptiFine, they get the bug and then wonder why this happens.
For multiplayer servers, where people some users may use OptiFine and others may not, this makes it almost impossible to set a config properly for everyone.
While i don't really expect an answer on this; what are the lights you have in the screenshot? are they a different mod, cause i'd like to know what it is/if i can get them.
Anywho, i totally love the mod. :>
So, I have a question.
Since you are adding the ability to use your bookshelves with enchanting tables, will you allow normal books to be placed in your bookshelves?
I think you should.
If you did, I would never use normal bookshelves again!
Thanks for reading!

Regular (and enchanted) books can already be placed in the bookshelves.
i dont know, if someone mentioned it already, but there is a little bug with tool racks.
if you put an item in there, its not sitting static in its slot. when you move past it, the items in the tool rack move, so that they always face in your direction. theyre basically turning in their slots, so theyre always facing the player.
it looks a bit irritating, when they turn on their own and their model is partially overlapping with the rack itself.
your mod is pretty awesome by the way. there is not a lot of mods, that focus on aesthetic blocks, and your stuff makes my home just look awesome.
i especially like the armor stand and how fast it allows me to switch between sets of armor. keep up the good work

That's not a bug. That's default Minecraft behavior. Items are rendered in a way that when they're dropped, they are always visible regardless of what direction you're looking at them from (unless from above or below). You can get around this by setting your graphics to Fancy, but that could result in a lower FPS.

A small bug, I think
System info:
Using FTB client loader v 1.1.2
The info file inside the Bibliocraft zip also says version 1.1.2
Not using Optifine.
This is a pristine install of only the FTB 1.1.2 Ultimate Modpack.
Single player mode/ client running on XP-64
Multiplayer Server environment is Ubuntu
Minefactory Reloaded's, Precision Sledgehammer (basically the mech wrench for that mod) displays different behaviors depending upon single player or multi-player server modes.
In single player the addition of "hammer" to the Bibliocraft config for tool rack additions, causes the hammer to hang up perfectly as one would expect.
In multi-player server mode, using the same config, the MFR Precision Sledgehammer will not hang up on shift-right click.
If the toolrack GUI is opened manually (empty handed) it can be added to a slot, but on leaving the GUI the hammer drops, leaving a ghosted hammer on the toolrack which can't be shift-right clicked off and which disappears on opening the toolrack GUI.
It doesn't appear on the surface to be a case sensitivity issue.
I have tested additional entries in the Bibliocraft config file including:: hammer, Hammer, Precision Sledgehammer, precision sledgehammer...
I've checked the MFR config and the item name as declared is "Hammer"
Changing this in the MFR config to lower case has no effect.
There are no console errors, server log errors, or forge log errors associated with this.
I have no clue whether this is actually a bug in Bibliocraft, MFR, or Forge.
This is a great mod and this isn't exactly the end of the world, but if you could take a look at this and hopefully fix it, I'd appreciate it.

so thats why. thanks. i had fancy graphics settings enabled at some point, but switched to lower quality.
Not to sure if it is that I may have downloaded it wrong, or I have not deleted a certain file, (I would not know, it is my first time with mods) but the mod is not loading??? When I go into a world on Minecraft, the mod is not there??? Any clues on where I have gone wrong??? (once again, I am new to modding so I would have no clue on why it would not work.
P.S I did Install 7-zip and Forge, also put the zip file for this mod into my .minecraft.
Thanks for any help!!

To install this, just put Forge into the jar and this mod's zip file into .minecraft/mods. This goes for most mods.

you have to start the game once with just forge installed, so forge is setting up a few directories, including a mods folder, where every mod goes, thats loaded by forge.
make shure, that you have the minimum required forge version, that is needed for your mod.
Speaking of NBT tags, that reminds me of something:
As you've just added the functionality to see the custom name and enchantments of equipment on the armor stand and in the display case while wearing glasses/a monocle... might I request that you also add the functionality of seeing the lore text?
As we're all roleplaying on our server, we often add some lore text to special equipment (enchanted and/or renamed armor, weapons and tools mainly) via the display -> Lore: NBT tag (we're using the ingame NBTedit mod). It would be really nice if it were possible to see that lore text with the glasses/monocle/reading enchantment, too.
I am kind of guessing by Lore you mean the tooltips that pop up under certain items? I looked at a few different items with the ingame NBTEdit mod but couldn't locate any tags referring to lore. Tool tips also aren't stored in NBT. I still might be able to tap into that data through the method on the item used to add the tool tips, but since they aren't in NBT, I am kind of thinking thats not what your talking about. Do you perhaps have a mod that adds the Lore NBT tag? I think I need some clarification here.

The EntityID is changeable:
"custom enchantments" {
I:ReadingEnchant=188
}
This is something that will get removed, I left it in because of legacy reasons. I can't really turn it on based on if optifine is installed because the bug only happened for certain versions of optifine. As far as I know though, This was a 1.4.7 bug and last I checked was not happening as of 1.5.x. Though it has been over a month since I've tried optifine at a 1.5.x client.
While i don't really expect an answer on this; what are the lights you have in the screenshot? are they a different mod, cause i'd like to know what it is/if i can get them.
Anywho, i totally love the mod. :>
The lights in the screenshots are part of redpower 2. Those screenshots were taken in 1.4.7 minecraft. Unforchantly we don't have a 1.5.x version of redpower so don't expect to get those lights with the newest version of BiblioCraft, but the 1.4.7 versions of bibliocraft work fine with it.
So, I have a question.
Since you are adding the ability to use your bookshelves with enchanting tables, will you allow normal books to be placed in your bookshelves?
I think you should.
If you did, I would never use normal bookshelves again!
Thanks for reading!
The types of books you can place on the bookcases will be same. There is a config option to enable the placement of blank books on the bookcases if that is what you would like to do.
As a personal challenge, I think it will be fun just to try to build up the enchantment table levels using only enchanted books. Then think of all the cool enchanted books you'll have when you get the table up to level.

I'll look into this and add support for this. I've had cases with a few different items where the name detected on the server was different from the client for whatever odd reason. I will set myself up with a debug version that prints the item names in the dos window to help me figure out what I need to be checking for.
One minor issue with the tool racks (as of v1.2.3 in MC1.5.2): I can't put a Thermal Expansion crescent hammer into a tool rack: it just doesn't seem to be recognised. This includes with the inventory slots of the GUI.
However Omni-tool's omni-wrench is fine.
I will add support for this too. I am surprised I missed this one since I use the crescent hammer too.
This may just be the most aesthetically pleasing mod I have ever seen. So many custom models! Extremey good work, this is going on my definite mods list.

Thanks for looking into it.
So the name used to declare the item id in the config file isn't necessarily the one used to identify the item in the mod?
This mod has radically changed the way I organize things now.
Would it be possible to integrate a charger into the armor stand for armor that has to be charged up?

Okay, thanks for telling me!
Also, that is very funny! I was thinking of the enchanted books in bookshelves around an enchantment table too!
I get a crash when looking over books on book cases when wearing glasses items.
