Poll: WorldGen with unique mobs is planned. What do you think?
The worldgen will include new kinds of caves/dungeons in the same fashion as Minecraft, like the mineshafts and mob dungeons. No over the top massive structures are planned. Of course, you can disable/enable them in the config.
I love your mod, but I have to tell you something... I love the pet slimes and s, and the support and festive s are incredibly cute, so I have a question. Will you add a tamable ?
OOOoohh, love it! I was always a big fan of Kodaichi's mods, sad to see he hasn't been around for a while. Really love the treasure slime and mimics too, and built in biomes o plenty compatability is fantastic! Is there any way you could possibly try your hand at re-loading Kodaichi's old whirlwind mod? That one was another of my favorites! Thanks haha
Uh, one last thing to add... Minecraft itself was inspired by Terraria, so it only makes sense to add something from that game.
Actually, minecraft has been around since early 2009, and was inspired by Dwarf Fortress and Infiminer... predating terraria by around two years. But mimics have been around much much longer
I have another suggestion. If you thinks, minecraft don't have objectives, so if you add travelers with random quests (like find wool for him, or find a dungeon or guide him to his home) would make the game more interesting. Minecraft isn't bad, but the game need challenges or objectives..

I love how well they fit to minecraft, I'm probably going to make a modded series with this one included, should I tell you when it's up?
Also I know the idea of this mod is to be kind of adding more variations of the mobs which already exist but you should try adding original mobs that also feel like they fit in minecraft.
Man, I especially like the lost miner and the merchant. For the lost miner, you even changed the texture of his/her skin! Nice details! Installing this mod, it's wonderful.
Hey Davey, could you do a pirate mob? I'm trying to liven up the oceans of my world a bit and have a collection of 20 ships and desert islands and small island ruins that i'm spawning in the oceans using the RUINS mod, and i'd like to add an ocean specific mob to them and pirates would be ideal - something traditional with a black eye patch, striped shirt, bandana and cutlas would be great.
He definitely should add skeletons in boats who spawn in the ocean. And maybe some kind of giant killer squid?

And i got a problem, after installing this mod, all the hostile mob no longer spawn during nighttime(spawn rate =0) and despawn immediately after i spawn them using eggs. i have tried to re-install the mod and same problem happened again.
This is a great mod anyway, i like the spiders!
So since only a few people are mentioning the spawning problem the mod must be working correctly for some of you. Is there a mod that conflicts with this one to kill the spawning rate? I took off atmosmobs the mobs started to spawn then stopped again. The mod does say it has xtrabiome support so I don't think that's the problem. I doubt metallurgy, rei's minimap, treecapitator, and optifine has anything to do with it either. I think most people have the mods I have so whats the problem?
I just installed this mod and am enjoying it so far! A quick warning to others, though. Don't try to install this mod on a .jar patched by MCpatcher. It'll give an error and die.
