Poll: WorldGen with unique mobs is planned. What do you think?
The worldgen will include new kinds of caves/dungeons in the same fashion as Minecraft, like the mineshafts and mob dungeons. No over the top massive structures are planned. Of course, you can disable/enable them in the config.

Gah... I'm having problems with strange over spawning again...
I was digging a tunnel at level 32 and then all of a sudden Traveling Merchants spawned in the tunnel I was still digging even though it says they only spawn above ground, but looking at my minimap I could see that there was dozens that spawned under ground along with those that spawned in my tunnel.
Sucks that I now have to turn them to despawn now just to get rid of them all... I had one all imprisoned to move with the normal Testificates I found, thus the reason I was digging a tunnel for a minecart track...

Let me be a bit more clear on the achievement bug. My achievements are reset when I close Minecraft only if I get a Primitive mobs Achievement. Please try to fix this!

Achievements resetting is common in all mods so much so that more than one has removed their achievements. It is apparently due to the way vanilla minecraft handles achievements in the loading phase, mod derived achievements load later (and apparently cannot be loaded at the time vanilla ones are) which causes base minecraft to reset all achievements since it doesn't know what to do with them. IC2 achievements were working for a while (in 1.2.5) but I believe they have been disabled at the current time as well.
Excellent mod! I like that it's a (virtually) no-frills addition to vanilla mobs and these seem to really mesh well with what MC has already. Hope to see this mod expand or go sequel down the road!
I have some questions concerning the baby spiders though. After raising one to adult, I took it for a ride. I couldn't jump but I seemed to be able to scale walls. I climbed the wall of a small village house, but by the time I got to the top and over the fence on the roof, my spider died. Not sure if the spider took damage from climbing, or perhaps it was being attacked from behind by an Iron Golem (which would explain how I got on the roof).
I then spawned another baby spider to keep as a pet. Things were fine until I got near an Iron Golem, who considered it a threat and promptly squashed it flat. Is this intentional?

Just realized I'm running 1.3.2, and will update shortly but thought I'd post this...
I was mining and a nearby support creeper slowed me. I kept mining in hopes to find him, but instead found lava and decided to turn around. Heading back to my home, I noticed I was slowed all the way even though I wasn't chased. The mining spot was easily 500m from home and I still had the effect. I got home, milked a cow and drank it hoping to remove the effect, no dice.
I relogged (SMP) and it was gone. The effect was listed as 0:00 duration. Is this intentional?

I'm testing MCPC on my server (usually just plain Forge) and it seems that the Primitive Mobs mobs doesn't honour the damage dealt by the IC2 chainsaw (and subsequently, the IC2 Addon: Gravitation Suite advanced chainsaw also). Strangely, they honour the damage dealt by the IC2 nano saber. Could it be that multi-purpose tools + MCPC screw with the mobs somehow?
I tested weapons from Metallurgy, AtmosMobs and Balkon's Weapon Mod and they all worked perfectly.

Just tested it a bit more thoroughly. Test against mobs from both AtmosMobs and Primitive Mobs and it only seems to affect the Skeleton Warrior, for whatever reason.
I've been killing Skelly Warriors with a Chainsaw so your issue is somewhere else, 2 hits same as pretty much every other mob, though Support Creepers seem to take 3.

Yeh, I had this problem before when testing potion effects. Could be a forge bug, however could you test some more? Could be that a support creeper dying results into the effect glitching or something.
Me again! Hate to bother even more, but is there something that drops the skeleton skull in this mod? I ask because there are dozens of these things all over the place and I only started seeing them after installing this mod. They are littering the streets, rooftops, crops, floors, well pretty much everywhere in my village. There's some out in the wild too, but the village has way more per area.
