Does ForgeEssentials have the capability of teleporting a player to another world? I don't mean the Nether or End dimensions, but to another separate world. Bukkit had this capability with the WorldPortal plugin but I have been unable to find a comparable mod for Forge.
Someone had mentioned MystCraft but that is way overkill for what I need.

there is stuff in the Update.sql file that should come with your download.
NONE of the newer 1.4.7 FE server BETA zips have anything remotely like that included.
I went to the Betabuilds/Workspace area and got it, but the real issue is that you have to delete FEData.h2.bd and the like if it exists because otherwise it errors out with 'table not found'. I see the update.sql is 'supposed to' write a new table, but it appears it doesn't if the db exists...
in any event I sorted it out, just thought that maybe these things should be noted is all....
@zero80472 Yes this unreadable file is where the permissions are stored.
Try to change the config-file to store the permission into a SQL-Database,
then you can read it without problems,
when you login your SQL-Database,
but you have to add permissions ingame via commands to see any permissions there.

Hi, Can anyone post the command here to prevent fire spread server wide with this tool? Is that possible? And, does it need to be done via configs or can the command be run in game by an OP / Owner?
Will Forge Essentials eventually have the /nick Command for folks to use custom names but use the same login, like original Essentials, i would rather not use Necessities another essentials like mod just for nick as it might cause problems with ForgeEssentials.... or if anyone knows a mod just for that particular command.

this can be done for a vanilla server. There is a firespread property in the server.properties file.

that command exists with ForgeEssentials as part of the Chat module. Please look at the wiki.

I tried looking at the plans for design features on the wiki, but it only makes me create a new page. I just wanted to know if there's going to be a PowerTool feature. I mainly care about using that with World Edit, whenever that comes to be.

PowerTool feature? explain.
about WorldEdit, we were hoping to have it done by the 1.2 release later today, but 1.5.1 threw a wrench into our plans. Itl have to wait till our 1.5.1 release

PowerTool is the ability to assign a command to an item you're holding.

I've heard this mentioned before, but never found reference an actual server.properties entry to control firespread. There is, however, a firetick gamerule that is stored in the level .dat. The rule can be toggle using the /gamerule command. This isn't a great option though. You can turn off firetick, which while it does stop fire from spreading, will also stop fires from ever going out on their own. Which means that every thunderstorm will add fire to the landscape that will never go out unless someone comes along and puts it out themselves.
There is real need for a feature to block only firespread but not firetick.

Malkierian summed it up quite well, but I'll give an example.
When I was on a server with WorldEdit and PowerTool, I took a stick and bound the //undo command to it, so if ever I messed something up, I could just use that for an instant fix. If I were pasting a lot of copies of something, I could simply put //paste onto something and go around using that item instead of typing out every single one. If I wanted a quick and easy but rough-looking tunnel, I could attach a command that sets a sphere to air wherever I'm pointing, and just go clicking my way through for a nice big, winding tunnel that still looks fairly natural. (I forget the exact command I used, I haven't been on a server with those since 1.2.5)
In any case, PowerTool simply binds commands to the item you're holding so when you click it executes the command without needing to type it in. I think you can bind two commands to one item, using the right- and left- mouse buttons. It goes quite well with WorldEdit, which is very command-heavy, speeding up a lot of activities considerably and making it more natural and user-friendly.
I've cracked open the BlockFire class and rewrote it to avoid spreading. It is work quite nicely so far. You can drop it directly into the server .jar. It is based on 6.6.1.527 forge, so I can't vouch for its stability outside of that. It should work on 1.4.6/1.4.7 incarnations of forge. Send me a PM if you want it!
The advantage of this over doFireTick is that you can have fires go out instead of accumulating from lightning storms since fire will still tick.
if anyone got bugs, you got 24 hrs to post them here or on github.
After that, we are moving on to MC 1.5 and will no longer support the 1.4.7 version.

Appreciate any help with this.
Multiworld, you mean?
No.

yes 1.2 will be for 1.4.7. And wel be releasing tonight hopefully.
I made an issue, although I know essentially nothing of github or how the "Request" label gets added.
