This is amazing, it's been a great adventure to see InfiTools become what it is now I remember playing MC 1.7.3 Beta with InfiTools and Balkons weapon Mod, do you still have the expansion (I always had it installed as well), just a question but when it changed from InfiTools to InfiCraft, was that because someone asked you to put it into there modpack called InfiCraft, this mod pack never came to be but it may now with a different name. Let me just say that person was me, and thanks for taking my name it actually makes the mod sound better, I hope this mod continues to be one of the greats out there such as Dzharks mo'creatures, and I hope it doesn't turn into the Aether mod which began very small and then got big then disappeared.

No, diamonds are used as a modifier to add durability and mining level to other pickaxe heads. The way I do it (and I'm sure most others do) is make a pickaxe head out of iron, then use a diamond as a modifier on the finished tool.
Anyone know how to make a binding thing? I honestly have no idea how to work this mod after all the updates . P.S: I have all of the tables, sufficient resources and the pattern chest.
EDIT: Nevermind, after a while i found out you had to click the buttons, which stumped me before because i didn't know i had to put in a blank sheet. Lol, sorry. Anyways, good mod!

thanks... so theres no way of making a total diamond pickaxe anymore?
What happened to the old infitools? I miss being able to craft stuff out of anything.
EDIT: After looking into this some more, i discovered that you retired it. Why? It was such a good mod, and this mod doesn't really do much when infitools was, well, infinite.
DarkWerr: It was obviously a joke. Cars, what on earth were you thinking? It's not like I'm going to get up to steam engines or anything...
yannymishchuk: Support seems to be growing by the day. I'm doing my best to create this whole thing in a way that I will enjoy. Everyone else is just along for the ride.
InfiCraft came around because blocks couldn't possibly be made into tools. Out of all the possible names, that one sounded the best. Then I started shoving more stuff under the same roof...
ethanwdp0500: The stencil table is rough and not intuitive. It's not the best part of the mod, but to do it properly would've taken a lot more time.
ethanwdp0500: InfiTools was a mess of a monster of a mod inside. It was taking more effort to maintain it than all of the other mods combined.
Psychopathic_Disease: They work just fine for others I've talked to, as well as myself. Perhaps you're installing one of the things Mo' Creatures needs in the wrong order and it magically works because Mo' Creatures doesn't need all of Forge?
It doesn't look like it, but this is one spectacular failure of a model. It always moves sideways!
Alestance: Shoddy means the material is likely to break into pieces, yes. Unfortunately it doesn't give shards as those are too valuable. It means that the tool has more attack and mines slower as it takes more damage. Spiny is the exact opposite.
I came into this mod thinking
"HOLY CRAP! Theres going to be steampunk customizable golems in this mod!"
I was dissapointed, but it's still a great mod.
Speaking of steampunk golems that are customizable...
Currently, i see this mod as something to completely customize everything.
I know how hard it would be to make armor on this though, but still, being able to create your own constructs, and armor and tools and weapons, this mod would grow to the highest level of awesome.
Stop treating mod devs poorly. These people mod as a hobby or as a service to the community, they don't have to take your suggestion and you are not entitled to anything from them.
Interesting, a Pull Cart. It makes me think of the ones that the Pioneers would use, only this one has a chest in it. I like the concept mDiyo. It would probably make it so we can bring a few extra stuff on our travels, or make it so we have to take fewer trips in trying to relocate all of our items from our old House to the new one. I bet it would be great if these could be pulled by Cows, and they would follow us anywhere we go while they are towing a Pull Cart along with them, that would make transporting stuff even more convenient.

There's a bug/exploit with the part builder...the chunks (shards) doesn't work in the bottom left square but does in the top left corner. However, the exploit is that whatever chunk/shard is used never exhausts...
Also, shift clicking in the tool builder gives excess amount of tools.

I got my problem fixed. It wasn't a problem with your mod or anything. It was a fault on my part. Probably should have checked that out before I posted.
Caiman Crocigator: First I will be using the wheels as wheels. That's a big leap in logic, yes? ^^;;
derik_william: Not yet.
Xalithar_Daskel: There will be three tiers: Wood, Metal, and "omgwtfbbq this wither is going to kill me whyyyyyyyy"
Avskygod0: The content in your signature is awesome. I want more boats sometime in the future, keep an eye out...
Guodek: Update IC2, possibly your Minecraft version. I'm using a new interface and old versions will cause problems like that.
Then, if it moves, is some kind of cart. And about the cars, it was a joke. =P

Nope. If you want shiny blue tools, you'll have to wait for cobalt

Because they don't seem to work together.

More importantly, is the shard the material of the tool head, or the material that applies the shoddy buff?
If I combine flint, netherack, and cobblestone together to make one tool, will it increase the chance of receiving shards?
Alestance: Shoddy means the material is likely to break into pieces, yes. Unfortunately it doesn't give shards as those are too valuable. It means that the tool has more attack and mines slower as it takes more damage. Spiny is the exact opposite.
