Not sure if another mod is doing this but the last I read the Oreberries pretty much all have to be smelted into Nuggets. But for me the only ones I have to do this with are the Gold and Aluminum ones, the rest I can turn into bars via 3x3 recipe...
Is this intended and I'm reading an outdated wiki? or is there another mod changing this?
I'm experiencing strange lag related to the smeltery now. For some reason, it'll just start lagging for no reason, and it only stops after I destroy either a casting basin or table, but even after that there's residual lag that only stops when I restart Minecraft entirely. Can anyone help me?

I've seen this in NEI in FTB. I'm not sure if it's TConstruct or another mod, but something registers Oreberries as Nuggets of that material in the Ore Dictionary. And Nuggets can be crafted into an ingot of the same material by filling the crafting good with 9 of them. The reason I think it's another mod is because Iron, Copper, and Tin nuggets are very commonly added by other tech mods, whereas Gold is from vanilla and Aluminum isn't as common. Which might explain why they aren't affected.
TL;DR: Oreberries=Nuggets in Forge Ore Dictionary.
OreDictionary.registerOre("nuggetIron", new ItemStack(oreBerries, 1, 0));
Just happened to have it opened to that spot as I was reading this.
So is it an oversight then? Cause I was always confused why I had to melt the Gold and Aluminum down but the rest were fine to just turn into Ingots. Also what file would our Admin have to open to adjust that?

From what I can see by following the code trail, TConstruct is registering ingot recipes for its own nuggets items (not oreberries) through the GameRegistry, but this does not include oredictionary items. Then, oreberries are registered as nuggets through the ore dictionary. So therefore, if another mod was to start up and say, "hey, let's register recipes for ingots to be crafted from nuggets through the ore dictionary!" then, well, that happens. Gold nuggets are not registered in the ore dictionary by default as far as I can tell, or at least are not registered as "nuggetGold", so that mod probably isn't attempting to add a recipe for it. And again, few mods play with aluminum, so likewise here. Hope that wasn't too confusing.
Also what file would our Admin have to open to adjust that?
Sadly, unless your admin wants to edit the TConstruct source and rebuild it every time there's a new update: there is none. To actually answer your question though: TContent.java. With that in mind, I think I'll ninja in the recipe in my mod as a config option.
I don't mean to be "that guy" when it comes to asking for updates, but I'm literally on this page everyday waiting for a stable armour update I can put on my server. Is there an ETA? Or is it just a case of "it'll get here when it gets here"?
I think a lot of mods haven't been update to 1.7.x because the Minecraft coding pack (MCP) hasn't been updated for 1.7.x yet. When the MCP v9.x gets released, I suspect we'll see a lot more mods updated to 1.7.x/.8.x. Until then, though, I think we just have to be patient.
I could also be terribly mistaken. It may be that TC doesn't use MCP at all.

MCP has been updated, and there are forge 1.7.2 versions, but they are not quite complete.
I found options for enable/disable just about anything in TiC but the stuff I wanted, mainly heart canisters. Is it possible to add an option to do this?
While MCP has been updated and released for quite some time, it is Forge that's keeping modmakers from updating. A good number of the "hooks" that Forge uses for mods are still missing, and this prevents modmakers from using all of the necessary tools to update their mods. While they could update, this would not only be difficult, but would render the mod incompatible with most (if not all) other mods depending on the content added.
Having the same issue as above with the drawbridges.no point in posting an identical crash log. Hope it gets ironed out in the next update.

Are you talking about the GUI? Cause if so that's the melted metals, etc in the Smeltery itself.

Seconded.
Confirmed.

Thanks for the explanation, not a big deal I guess it's just a lil weird.
