Mdyio(I think I got that right) my friend, it was a very responsible decision of you to block ic2, even though it's one of my favorite mods, I agree with your decision, and hope it cools the boiling water down.
I love this customizations, but i found a rather....strange bug.
I was busy, making a paper scythe for fun, and because we had a ton of sugarcane. I put auto smelt on it, with fortune 3 (after a while of clanging) and proceeded to farm and cook potatos instantly. I set my farm near a beach btw, so i went to break some sugar cane, which i was growing nearby.
...It somehow did a 3x3 area (i hit the floor sugarcane like a idiot) and turned the sand under my reeds into glass,,I tested it some more and found out i can harvest bigger areas of sand then with the excavator. I put a diamond and a emerald, and headed into my mine to test some things.
What i did, was try to mine a dirt block in my mine, see if the area of effect applied to to stone....it mined the stone, and dropped it as smooth stone. I did more testing, and it effected anything that can be smelted, mining it as though a manullyn pickaxe mined it.
Pretty critical bug imo.....seeing as a paper scythe is somehow more efficient at mining sand and stone then a excavator and a hammer ._.
and the radius of it's effect is a 3x3x3 area, in case you're wondering.
So it will not be impossible to use greg tech and Tconstruct at the same time?
Well, he has been telling people not to use them together for some time now, that it seems problems will continue to arise until both sides come to a long-term agreement (which also seems unlikely). He is just making an official notification so that people understand there is a good chance that something won't work as expected, instead of running to one or both threads of these mods complaining about any problem that, again, is unlikely to be solved any time soon.
But yeah, you are free to throw them together and try to make something work on your own, or with some friends.
I'm with anyone who's stated that they've never, I repeat NEVER encountered a problem caused by Gregtech and Tinkers Construct being installed together. I'm running a mod pack of over one hundred and sixty four mods. I've spent the last month and a half blasting various mod developers with bug report after bug report just to insure that my installed mods work together.
The only major issue I've encountered as of late with Tinkers Construct has nothing to do with Gregtech. I'm sure it's mcpc+ specific, I'll crash instantly when placing a signal bus. You mention that you don't support bukkit and, by extension, mcpc+ is bukkit so I neglected to mention it.
On a happier note, I was sifting through the book and noticed that I could shove a redstone energy cell onto my tools. You mentioned that before in this thread. Does this increase the storage capacity of the tool? I could live with that, it keeps me from setting up abusive auto recharge systems involving batteries or ender backpacks.
please turn the arrow in the tool forge interface into a button, to apply the modifiers, so we dont have to drag and drop the tool so much, if we want to put things like lapis, quartz or redstone on it.

would be awesome.
and on a different note, I found my bug, was some item id issue with additional Pipes for BC, when I cast a tough tool rod, it gave me automatic wooden pipe. I checked with an NEI free ID dump and the ID was "free" but im guessing it (AP) maybe grabs the item ID above it and doesn't tell anybody. Long story short, when I changed that to a few values lower, the issue cleared up. I'm going to go smelt some stuff =D
This suggests that you are going to actively prevent the two mods from loading on the same modpack. Is this true, or am I misinterpreting? If I am misinterpreting, please tell me why exactly such a thing would be the case.
No, he's just planning to present a notice that lets the user know there's known compatibility issues and using the two together is at their own risk because any errors caused by using them together will be unsupported.
Only took a few minutes but reverted Tinker's alloy back to Bronze and Aluminum Brass.
Even changed TE's to Bronze.
Tinker's Alloy is silly. Was gonna also change Shiny to just straight Plat, but it's alright as is.
Can you please make the hearts changing color as your health goes up go to a higher amount because i am using a lot of mods that add health and i have more health than that can handle.

There was a whole discussion a couple pages ago, you can go back and read it, but as a moderator has already come on here and said we shall not speak of what transpired in those threads, use some discretion.
BTW, the newest DL of tinker construct was crashing when using the materials and you book and moving to the bronze/steel page, moved back to last rendition that I had and it works.
the "1.6.X" only works with 1.6.4 for me. (excuse me if its obvious)
Darn. I missed all the fun.
Oh, I'm entirely mistaken about how his mod functions then. Let's have a chat about such things and see if we can get it resolved.
mysteriono: Luck on the arrows never worked. It's the weapon you're holding that matters. (Hint: the bow)
Mr_person123432: I use the current download on 1.6.2. It should be fine.
raisin17:It's GregTech that we'll be doing things with, not IC2.

Just to clear up any potential descrepencies that may or may not arise.
I CAN'T SHOOT ARROWS FROM YOUR MOD.
I can shoot normal arrows, but not TC arrows.
HEELLLPPPPP
would be awesome.

love this mod!
That's cause you need a shortbow.
Even changed TE's to Bronze.

Edit: It only gives 1.5.2.3 when you click the direct link. The other is still for previous version.
If Minecraft were real, you'd be a zombie right now.
