If it's not too much trouble, can you post how long each disc plays in seconds? I use ComputerCraft and I have a nifty program that plays the default music discs on loop. I'd love to add these discs to the code, however I need to know exactly how long it plays so I can issue a command to make it re-play after it's done playing.
Thank you for your time either way.
Brilliant request. I actually have no clue how long the songs are however I will make a note to update it to the information in the main post once I have all of the mods updated with the new content. (I update the forum post and packs at the same time grouping them all under the same project version number)
Not to annoy you, but can you give me a date or tell me when the mod will be available for us mac users? Why not just give us the mod and not the whole .minecraft?
Thankyou for your time

I do give just the mod. The .minecraft contains only the mod and sound files in the correct spaces. The reason I do this is because it is a simple easy install for people. The reason why some mac operating systems cant show the .minecraft, I have no clue. I would say that the mod will update some time this week. I am going for an update every week.

i feel that the dot operator before minecraft is messing up the file, causing the OS X system to think its something else

I too feel that this may be the cause. I am almost lead to believe it is a form of countering piracy. In the past you could get appdata/program files and upload them to a friends computer (or online) and they could use it for free however it could be related to the fact that apple uses sensitive file types such as the .minecraft file in this mod.
Whatever the reason is, I will have a fix availible soon. I am not at my computer right now nor will I for a few days so that is unfortunate :/

Actually, I believe that MacOSX is similar to *nix systems in that it treats files/folders that start with a '.' as hidden, so all that the current MacOSX (and likely *nix as well) end-users would have to do to be able to properly install this mod, would be to use whatever system option or hot key they have that would allow them to view hidden files, eg. 'CTRL + H' when in a file browser window in Ubuntu.
This might be a bit advanced for you, but have you tried letting us add our own songs to the mod? Like as in, us doing it ourselves? I would strongly recommend this.

I thought this aswell however the users I had questioned said they could view the normal .minecraft in their appdata. Regardless I will have this fixed. Expect an update this weekend hopefully... I have had some complications as of the last few days with my main computer. My current one is not good for much XD

That sucks, just like apple products :L Thankgod i got this computer for free from school Keep on updating dude
Just a suggestion from another follower with the problem, try putting the .minecraft folder in another folder, maybe called mod files or something.
or maybe just removing the "."
Cause I noticed I had the files in the download but no way to access them (While unarchiving the .zip I downloaded, It showed it unarchiving the music files)

The official update/patch will be out soon. Again sorry for the inconveniences this has caused.
will this only be for Mac users? or will i have to get it too? just wondering in my stupidity
Well I plan to make the switch once all the new content is ready. I have a surprise pack planned to be released and also 4-6 new songs. So the patch will include much more than just a simple folder reformat.

Farewell everyone o/
Thankyou for your time
It's not really the whole thing. Crack it open and you'll see it's a zip for the .minecraft/mods folder & some .minecraft/resources files.
