It seems like steamcraft tools don't add more mining/chopping/digging speed to mod blocks. Also i think it would be cool if you cant enchant steam armor/tools.
Steamcraft duplication bug: mining Slate Tile blocks with either (iron) pickaxe or (stone) drill produces two Slate Tile blocks instead of one. This is using the latest Steamcraft release I am aware of (Leather/Etherium Armor graphics fix) and Forge x.871. Other tools and materials not tested.
I just can't stay away (though you're probably wishing I did)!
Another Steamcraft bug: Chemical furnaces don't seem to work. I've put a stack of iron ore in the input slot, sulfur in the first fuel slot and phosphorus in the second fuel slot. According to wiki data, this should get things going. It just sits there.
Just in case the wiki was in error, I also tried sulfur in both fuel slots, followed by phosphorus in both slots. I also swapped sulfur and phosphorus into both slots to check if it had something to do with the order. I also tried putting in the fuel both before and after putting in the ore. Finally, I applied a redstone current to it in case that got left out of the documentation. Nothing worked.

This is not easy without them setting their block harvest level. I can't really tell each block mining speed by guessing.
Steam tools are now unenchantable as of version 0.2. Steam armor doesn't come from this mod.

Both issues fixed in version 0.2
It is actually good to see someone interested in my work.
Most people simply download without a comment or thank you. Kinda depressing.
I want to adjust the amount of generated walls, since there are too many walls in my opinion, and some of them collide onto each other.
I also want less underground cities and completely make the obsidian and glowstone structures in the underground not to generate...

How do I adjust it?
Tweak frequency option in the setting files. You can remove any offending templates from the cities folder (or set their relative weight to 0 in the template file)
I do believe my chemical furnace may be using some of it's own products on the side. I ran the same tests as I did prior to the bug report and it's still not working. I also tried removing the furnace and placing it again and ran the test run series again - no luck. I noticed that shift-click does not move the ore into the smelting spot - could this be related?

If it were up to me, I'd be allowing mainteners to accept donations. It's just as hard in it's own way, as you're working with someone else's code (and therefore have to understand their mindset). The end result is usually the same - a functional mod for a given version of minecraft.
From your work, I use Formivore's generators, pchan3's mods and now Steamcraft. These have been some of my favorite all-time mods. Losing them when the original modders departed was depressing, as they each add a good bit of content and color to the world. Thank you very much for bringing them back!
Ok... I have to ask - what is that? It looks like a spell interface of some sort, but I thought all the magic mods were still going (except Wizardcraft, but that doesn't look like it's spell set). Nothing on the requested list jumps out at me.

Slate blocks do indeed drop only one block now.

I do admit i forgot to add the two lines to shift-click-in smeltable things into the chemfurnace. This is fixed now.
But phosphorus, gunpowder and sugar are working as fuels...:/
I am really happy that you are so supportive
This is a spoiler for the next update...Skill API and its general skill pack from Paraknight

Thanks for the fix! Downloading now.
So, sulfur may not have made the fuel list, then?
Edited Addition: I just confirmed that phosphorus and gunpowder are an acceptable mix on my setup. Phosphorus and sulfur are not working, though.
Edited Addition 2: I just tested sulfur and sugar while smelting Bornite, and that works. It's something specific to the phosphorus/sulfur mix, I think.

Ha, found it!
The chemical furnace was "thinking" that phosporus and sulfur are the same
Derpy furnace fixed.
No more recipe conflicts does not seem to work for me in 1.6.4. It does not crash, but, attempting to switch through the possible outputs of recipes does not work.
Excellent! I'll download and install shortly. Moving on to the Nuclear Reactor next. Edited Addition: Good news! Nuclear Reactors still explode! Further testing will have to wait until after the clean-up, however.
Be careful with nuclear energy usually it needs some water to keep fresh...*hint*

I was aware of the water requirement, and had five adjacent sides covered. Apparently, it needs all six minimum, which means the reactor needs to float. Of course, if it's not just immediately adjacent sides, I'll need even further redesigns. I love the smelting rate, though!
Oddly, the wiki page on the reactor seems to have vanished. Perhaps it needed cooling, too. I'll add it back in when I get a bit.
It's the least I could do, seeing I don't know heads nor tails about modding.
Is it possible that in the release of PK Skills, the mana potions could be stackable? If I remember correctly, it wasn't possible in the last version. Of course the recipe was added before the advent of empty bottles so a more appropriate recipe would involve a lapis and a bottle. But if that proves to be too much work, a direct port to 1.6.2 would be just fine; just being able to use the mod again would be awesome!

It is advised to have as much surrounding water as possible, but it is not needed for the furnace to work. It is simply safer that way and easier to manage
I'm trying to switch between recipes for the skillet from harvestcraft and the katana from balkon's weapons. Figured it out, it does not work with workbenches from other mods.
Well, if they have custom workbenches, they simply can't conflict.

Because of a bug. Which is fixed now.
I work alone in general, though most updates are public on Github, so anyone can contribute.
The ControllerBlock mod is a rare case where i contributed in a team to make a mod from the ground up, because the old mod wasn't open source.

Downloaded, installed, tested and... partly confirmed?

The brass armor then ? i can remove the enchants, just wait
I need more info. What are the mods and recipes ?
I don't think it does...but feels nice anyway

Yes, that is possible...and done.
Enjoy the Skill API update !
