@ TSAMP 1942: exactly! Though, to be fair, the first lessons in any tutorial is invariably a block and then an item recipe made with said block. I can completely understand being proud of your own work.
@ shallowfire and wrothmonk: Right, this should be compatible with Modloader SSP, but I have a goal of making it SMP. I think the statues would make an interesting addition to any server economy.
@ Nixeon1: Thanks! What are the names of the statues you are making where blocks are getting deleted? For some, it might be intentional: a full Poseidon actually erodes the terrain until there's nothing above sea level and Prometheus will sometimes lash out at any Jupiter statues because of years of resentment. But if it's not, like Demeter destroying her own feet in TNTGamiz's review, I'd like to fix that.
Hi, it would be interesting to see if you could manage to make this mod also server sided. I would love to see that. Not much of a modder, so don't know if it is hard. Came fro Icanhascupcuake!
You should add Ma'at, the Egyptian goddess of order. Its effect could be to restore an area of land to its natural state. (as in slowly reverse time removing player buildings, restoring creeper explosion areas, and regrowing chopped down trees)
Also you could add Medusa, turns any mobs in the vicinity to two tall pillars of stone.
And Daedalus, changes items in chests or dispensers around it into other items.
I have a few ideas, Horus the avenger, and maybe the serpent Apophis, the personification of Chaos himself! Horus would add Strength and regeneration, while Apophis will create explosions to the nearest entities, regeneration will not work while you are in it's vicinity.
This looks really awesome, although I would recommend forge compatibility as soon as possible. Would you like me to make you some banners? I'm trying to improve my photoshop skills so I'm making free banners for new mods. Thanks.
P.S. I made the banner in my signature.
You sir are blind. It is forge compat. I'm using it right now.
Chronus - God of Time (Alternately, borrow from The Elder Scrolls and use "Akatosh - The Dragon of Time")
Chr (Ak) - Advance time
on (at) - Of all players
us (osh) - For emeralds Normal statue changes night into day and vis versa, in exchange for an offering of emeralds. The head could be used to give things extra ticks, while the other parts would probably be self-explanatory.
Nyarlathotep - The Black Man of the Witch-cult
Nyar - Regenerate health and hunger
lat - for one who pays
hotep - a terrible price! My thought was that either there could be a literal, "terrible price", a price in the form of an offering with a hidden cost as well, or just the statue applying some random long-lasting debuffs.
Actually, I'd like to suggest more of the Cthullhu mythos (The Great Cthullhu himself would fit the breakdown for names.) but they're pretty hard to write for when I haven't gotten any sleep tonight.
@ Jyric: I absolutely would take a banner from you, provided it doesn't get all green and smash-happy when angered!
And like Miz_Redavni said: Household Gods is compatible with Forge, though SSP only. I mean to upgrade it to SMP with Forge.
@Nuok_BlackFang: I would like some Norse Gods in the mod. Just haven't come up with any good ideas involving one yet.
@Anon_TheMouse: I can't believe I forgot about HP Lovecraft. I've been fascinated by his writing ever since I found it!
When does a man die? When he is pierced through the heart with a bullet? no When he is stabbed with a sword? no, When he eats a soup made of poisonous mushrooms? NO! A MAN DIES WHEN HE IS FORGOTTEN! --- Dr.Hiluluk

@mateminecraft12: That is coming in the future, when I make the switch from Modloader to Forge!
I think that I'm the only person on these forums to have the syndrome. if anyone else has it,
let me know

@Silverbane7: So happy someone got the reference!
@KwMclovin: Tested and sent you a likely fix for your problem. Please let me know if it works (or doesn't) before I release it.

@Jochmen: see:
