Woot thank you so much for the update it seemed to fix the crashing from log pipes (still testing) ill keep ya updated if i find any issues and great work i saw the wireless block and i got all excited =P soon as you put in the wireless terminal i can save alot of space with the wire network i have that keeps track of everything my factory makes and when auto crafting comes into play i can use that instead of the BC auto crafting table (since its easier to store the items).
Hey,
i have installed this mod because it is looking very interesting.
I have installed a few other mods, eventually this is causing the error but when i right-click the ME Molecular Assembler i get a white interface with some missing texture text in it.
My minecraft is running on forge version 6.5.0.471
I knew I forgot something, the assembler is in-complete I meant to disable it in the new release but I forgot, don't worry about that block, its currently not used for anything.
Honestly you shouldn't take it out the block itself is done just needs the coding for the function so it works as a place holder. So in theory it should make it easier for when you wanna add the code for it to work easier.

Well since I released it with the block in place, I guess I shouldn't remove it, cause that cause world issues if anyone has already created one.
On a side note the next update should have colored cable, I didn't go crazy with this, but there will be 7 different colors to pick from, which I think should probably cover the needs, I don't think I need the whole rainbow... Especially since there are so many similar colors.
Blue ( default ), green, red, brown, yellow, white, black are the options. Its a pretty cheap feature, 1 Dye + 8 Cable = 8 Colored Cable. you can also un-color cables for free by crafting just the colored cable, you don't get dye back tho.
I've improved the collision / bounding boxes for cables, they now make sense!
I'm also working on a way to configure cells to only accept certain items, as well as name them.
So you can make a cell called ingots, and configure it to hold only ingots, or make one called dirt, and it will only hold dirt, that kind of stuff.
I'm tossing around an idea for a simple automation block that could allow you you to dump items into a non-me inventory or pull items from a non-me inventory automatically but I'm a little hesitant as its not really the purpose of ME, but at the same time it seems kinda foolish to use BC, cause of over flow issues, Log-pipes are over kill for the situation requiring at least 3-4 blocks, and RP2 requires a timer + trans-power / filter... ( Interface -> Filter -> Inventory. or a sorting machine which needs power ) In any case I doubt i'm the only one who's thought I just want to dump ____ into this machine, but its a headache because of how to do it. or something like that.
and as usual I'll continue to work towards auto crafting.
Any thoughts from anyone who's tried/trying the mod so far? =)
Only thing that i could see improvement on is the interface which is limited when using it as an output of your storage for automation ( like my ore processing) since i can only have 8 things being pulled out when there is extra mats that r put into the ME storage cell so mab an upgrade module similiar to that of log pipe modules to increase the number or may just a higher tier that has mroe slots would be ideal for someone like me who likes to create massive production lines. On another note it would also help wth auocrafting system you plan on adding since some of the mroe advanced recipes take alot of diff mats this way you can set up one or maby 2 interface blocks to suppy your autocrafters making it a lil easier and also giving it a more advanced feel to that of the other autocrafters in mods.

Not a bad idea, I do like compact systems, and a tier 2 interface could let you cram more stuff into a smaller place, I've yet to use all 8 slots myself, but I've come close, I currently process my ores as they arrive via Ender Chest, then stick the ingots and stuff into an interface so I've never had to extract all the ores and such. I'll definitely consider this one.
Well i use liquid metals addon for BC which gives me about 180 ingots per stack of ore and some of the dust/other stuff i=the machines make gets over loaded and some of it goes to the interface (my default route) so i had to put into a second interface to pull out the extra items in my ore processing. But thanks foratleast considering it.Btw if you use BC id suggest getting addition pipes addon to get teleport pipes for your quarry system (cheaper then the ender chest)
I am currently playing around with your wireless access terminal and it doesnt rely have alot of range to it is this on purpose or just havnt gotte the coding to the desired length.Reason why i am asking is cuz it does not allow me to use it if im on the othe side of my factory were my liquid storage room is (maby 15-20 blocks away from the wireless Access point).
Btw i was wondering if you planned on putting in a similiar storage to your mod for liquids maby have a ME Tank cell ( something like that). If not its fine just thought id get the idea out there =P

The range is pretty limited, I might add a config option or this, to allow you to boost / restrict it some; but I didn't want it to be to overpowered, My thoughts were if you wanted more range, you could just add more access points, to get the areas you want in range, to have access.
As for liquids, I think I'm gonna stay out of it, Liquids + Electronics don't mix, heh.
Plus I really like some of the other liquid options out there like Iron tanks IN RC, and Portable Tanks in TE. Plus most stuff involving liquids is done using specific crafting tables ( carpenter for example. ) so I really can't do much with them other then store them.
but adding more access points seems to kinda doesnt make sence in my factory cuz i culd just add another terminal instead to check up on how my mining age is doing. Config option sounds suitable since everyone probly doesn't see it the way i do.Ya i like the RC tanks just thought id give the idea since it would be alot more compact lol.Either way works for me i only use the tank as a way to store the liquid ore for later use.

Maybe I'll consider adding a range booster upgrade, so you can expand the range at some cost, that way if running some cable / adding a new access point doesn't seem like a reasonable option you could just boost one access point, there will need to be a reasonable limit tho.
of course just thought not being able to reach my entire factory which is maby 30-35 blocks base was kinda odd.Realy loving the mod tho btw i found a bug that when i create a storage cell and shift click to take them out of the vanilla crafting table it seems to upgrade it to a storage block for some reason.

Hmm I tried this, and I can't get it to reproduce the issue, maybe you have another mod that's doing something the crafting or crafting table?
Basicly it seems to only happen if i have the storage block in my inventry and i try and shift click to get the storage cell from the crafting table it upgrades it.

Thanks, I was able to confirm the bug, and I've got a fix in place for the next version.
Cool not a problem btw i had a question about your autocrafting table.Basicaly i wa wondering if its unna be like the request pipe as in it only make the item if you request it or will it just auto craft it till you run out of mats?

Similar to LP, you basically put in an order for the item(s), and it starts crafting it, and any pre-requisite items. At least that's what I've got planned for now, do you think there is a need for the alternative?
If there is I might be able to integrate that via some of the other blocks I have planed.
Well for certain items like fertilizer from forestry and the bog /etc for the farms when i used forestry i had to set up an auto crafter to supply them cuz requesting and running back and fourth was kind of a pain so that would be ideal for those who use mods like that need a constant supply of a certain item but for someone like me who uses it as a factory the ordering of an item when i need it is more ideal. So maby add both ways of setting it up so both sides are happy?

I thought about it a bit more, and once its up and running the interface will be able to harness the auto-crafter. So if you have the patterns to make fertilizer in an assembler, and export fertilizer it will be able to handle that for you.
There may be other options as well in other future blocks =)
SWEET! you keep mentioning these other blocks but say nothing about then grrr im so curious cant wait to see what you come up with. This mod has made my factory so much more managable (i moved my house inside the old storage room) and by god the room i save is amazing wish more people could at least see and test this mod cuz alot of people who use tech mods (like me) would see the genius in compact storing and instant shipping.

Sorry for the confusion.

My quarry is a frame quarry, so the Ender Chest is a better fit,
