nice mod now i finally can stor my 50k stacks of cobble in a compackt space. the only thing thie mod need now is a quantum entangelment comunicator for long range networks.

hehe now when i can see how much cobble i have i can see i have 1,2 milion cobble (not stacks) haha thats alot
this may seem kind of a strange thing to ask and i doubt very many people would use it if they didn't have to but i think it would be kind of neat to have some kind of lighting system you could attach to your network and it would require power.
I like to play FTB and add more mods in it! But... when i add APPLIED ENERGISTICS mod when i try to start the game it just crashes instantly! Please replay to this or send me e-mail ( [email protected] ) i hop that this is not a bug and tha there is a solution ! If you need the crash repoart just say
This is most likely a block ID issue, its been posted like 5-8 times already, please change your config... If its not a block ID issue please pastebin or PM me the issue.
i think i had a problem with direwolf pack including forestry backpacks.
atleast that is what i got out of the report, this is the one from the crashlogs folder so i think it will help.
note: i added the mod to the direwolf pack, so don't get on me to tell modpackers.
This is probably a round-about block ID issue, try tweaking your config, the error is from thualmic bees... not AE.
Awesome mod! Found it via Direwolf20 (like many others)
First thing I tried was making a HV Solar Array automatically and I found out that it sometimes just stops crafting the item (mainly when I'm making some adjustments to the ME production line) and that it can't handle multiple furnaces or macerators via the ME Interface. I've got 2 electric furnaces and 2 macerators next to each other but only 1 of a kind is being used.
Also when I'm in the ME Terminal and I give myself item's they don't show up until I leave the GUI and go back in it again.
Other then that I can't wait to see it added to the Direwolf20 Mod pack (if that's going to happen, I really hope so)
Network resets ( when things change, clear the crafting log. ) this is a documented behavior on the wiki.
The crafting using multiple machines is on my to-do-list. I'm not sure about the issue your having with the terminal but I'll look into it.

This is most likely an ID conflict with forestry, which sometimes does not get displayed as one by minecraft.
Try erasing any forestry Addons, like Thaumic or Extra Bees for a short time, then minecraft should correctly display the ID conflict.
Or you can simply look for conflicting ID's in the AE config, there are not many ID's in there.
ima just say now i did not look past the first line about backpacks,
and now a response,
Thanks for telling me it was still an id conflict, i looked through it more thoroughly(taking it off and check the ids in game and change the files ids appropriately) and it worked, THANK YOU TWO!
This MOD is so incredible useful and well-conceived, you've done a great job so far AlgorithmX2!
In the past i've used LogisticPipes and Chests to store the mass amount of Items that come in from a bunch of Quarrys. But it was so hard to keep the network compact and clean.
I haven't played for a while, but a couple of days ago i've watched a Spotlight on your Mod and it convinced me almost instantly!
Once again great job, clever idea and well done so far! Im pretty anxious where this Mod will go, but one thing is for sure it filled a hole that was leaking for ages!
ok I uderstand what appen, when install this mod the creative tab is always the "first" tab and automatically overwrite the tab in that position, for example:
I have minecraft + forge (i use 534) + industrialcraft (or other mods), when add applied energistics the indistrialcraft creative tab disapper and i have only applied energistics tab.
can you fix this?
sorry for my bad english
I don't know if anyone has noticed it, but it seems like periodically when I go into a ME Crafting Terminal, either upon brining up the GUI or when it close it, the items in my hotbar get moved into the center of my inventory, sometimes in a different order than what I placed them in originally. I'll try and grab a screenshot if you need one.
For instance, normally for me my first 4 slots on the hotbar are Sword, Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel. After this they are removed from the hotbar and in the center are placed Sword, Pick, Shovel, Axe. The first three have no durability damage due to Repair, the Axe has some damage because it has no repair enchant (should that matter).

this might have to do InvTweaks, and a weird glitch in AE with it, this should be fixed for rv9
I just had some proposed tweaks to the ME Storage Bus. For the GUI I was wondering if you could expand the number of slots to accommodate the Iron Chests mod. I was think that maybe it could detect the size of the chest it is connected to and give that size instead. Also, it appears that when items are inserted into the chest from the Storage Bus it places them in the first open slot instead of finding a stack that isn't at 64. If you just throw items into a chest it wouldn't be an issue but I organize my chest in columns.
Also, for an ME Chest would it be possible to make it so you could organize it manually. When I open one up it looks like a mess to me. Maybe make it so it follows the placement pattern in a preformatter. Oh and it your inventories don't support crtl clicking. But come to think of it that might be added by another mod. Either way its a nice feature for when you only want to pull one item.
I absolutely LOVE this mod. Might I just say that the way you've implemented the storage disks so that you never waste materials as you can use them to upgrade to a higher tier is just genius, and being able to open one GUI and interact with all of my items is just the most amazing thing ever. A friend and I recently started a server just for the two of us, and I condensed at least eight gold chests full of stuff into two drives filled with 1k disks and some extra-dimensional barrels, best of all, it can all be accessed from a terminal next to my Thaumcraft research table! (That was the part I hated most about Thaumcraft - having to either dump all of my tools into a chest and fill my inventory with various items or spend 5 minutes looking through chests for something with a specific aspect on it.)
I have a suggestion for a new type of access terminal, though I'm not sure if it would be possible, it'd be neat if there were a Thaumcraft-integrated access terminal that lets you search for aspects on items instead of searching by item name. (For example typing in "ignis" (fire) would bring up blaze rods, coal, fire shards, etc.) I'm not sure if Thaumcraft's API has functions for that, but that would be the best thing ever for doing research.
Thanks for the awesome mod! It's definitely on my must-have list for any tech world from now on! I haven't even started with auto crafting yet, but from Direwolf20's spotlight, it looks like that's going to be pretty amazing, too!

Shift + Right Click grabs one at a time.
I'll also consider some of the ideas you have suggested.
I think, I found a serious bug. When I connect a ME Chest with a RP pneumatic tube (from above, if that matters) and pipe a stack of cobblestone in, the 1K ME Storage is completely filled up and the ME Chest shows 8128 pieces of cobblestone.
When I pipe a single piece of cobblestone into an empty ME Chest, Minecraft crashes. The crash report says something about stack overflow. Funny enough the world is corrupted after that. Minecraft crashes again if I try to load this world. The crash report seems to be too long to post it here. If it's needed, I will upload it somewhere an post a link.
Using Buildcraft pipes this does not seem to happen.
I know, I should use the ME Interface to insert items into the network, but I added this mod to an existing world and had not enough quartz to build a complete structure. I just wanted to pipe my cobble chest into the ME chest.
I have installed Buildcraft, Thermal Expansion, Equivalent Exchange, Enchanting Plus, Redpower, NEI with RedpowerPlugin and NEIPlugins.
Finally a private mod that just adds a single Item.
In the course of using this mod with thermal expansion, I found a feature that might be useful for export pipes.
Some machines, like the induction smelter, must smelt two dusts at the same time. Having an option to output specific numbers of items other than single or stacks would be most appreciated.

Not sure where this might fit in, but I'll try to keep it in mind if an opportunity presents itself.
Can I help u in any way like test some betas or anything else helpfull to u and the mod?
that would be so awesome

I'll be adding security type stuff at some point, but probobly not quite like this, I will think about the idea tho.

No, it mainly has to do with cooling, or degradation of structure, plus that would be really OP.
Check the wiki Faq or read back some pages for my message on nether quartz.

At the moment I would say 516. but that could change at any release.

Lots of fixes, including the bug with the ME Chest.
And some power balancing, for a full list check the change log: http://ae-mod.info/Change-Log/
and grab the new Version Here: http://ae-mod.info/Downloads/
This Is fixed in rv9.
