You can really already do this your self, by messing with the priority of the storage blocks, Shift+right Click with Wrench to tweak the priority levels ( Higher = Higher Priority )
I do have plans for this.
Wasn't sure on the priority levels as I didn't see anything pertaining to that while I was skimming the wiki. Thanks for that. And great, this'll help me a lot.
Also, when I was looking through the wiki, I was thinking of you working with KingLemming (author of Thermal Expansion) to integrate the Quartz Wrench with the OmniWrench mod of his (I'm drowning in wrenches lately XD)
Another question, would it be advisable to create an array of disk drives for storage in disks?

The Quartz Wrench is just a BC Wrench, so any BC Wrench, or Omni-tool will work.

Depends on your total storage requirements, designing your pre-formatting and setting up how your storage is configured to make optimal usage of your network is part of the planning process.
And its quite common to tweak things as you go to adjust for more common materials or changes to your farms and such.

Ah, okay. Thanks. Now I have a few ideas for my "industrial" complex.
A question for myself, where the Nether did I put that graph paper?

Sorry if im being annoying but i was wondering is there a priority system for crafting recipies? For things that use 2 different crafting recipies such as things interchanging gears and chipsets seeing i could run out of chipsets. Also something like buckets with IC2 installed, i want to make buckets wih iron, but if i ran out of iron it could use tin instead.
Also with the long distance transport, Is that going to be out soon because im remaking my storage system and im wondering if i should make it with that in mind or is it many weeks away? And is there a way to do two networks maybe 20-30 blocks away without connecting with cables at the moment or does that count as long distance?

At the moment the crafting system supports 1 pattern I aim to improve it, but that is the current state.

Long distance is inter-dimentional or a distance you feel is to long to run cables for.
if you think 20 blocks is fine for cables, then just run them.
I'm not going to be giving out when a block of feature will be added because I don't know. and really won't until already in the mod.
This mod is fantastic and makes storage way simpler and better than most mods. But there is one thing that kinda makes life hard; overflow. I've tried to figure out the last hours how to handle these situations, but without any success. There is probably a way with emitters, but that is going to turn bulky as hell, and will not work for newly introduced items in the system.
So a simple but very elegant suggestion to solve this: Priority buttons.
Each unit can be set to, lets say, 0-10 (default 0). This makes items first choose this location until it's full, then the next in the list, etc. This makes it very easy to direct overflow to whereever you want in your system, without having to use crapton of emitters.
You can set the priority of storage cells somehow, I forget how. I think it's on the thread somewhere.

You can set priority using Shift+Right click with a wrench on any storage block. ( Storage Bus / Drive / ME Chest )
Have to say this looks absolutely fantastic but, not sure how this affects the mod but in the latest vanilla MC snapshots Jeb talks about quartz implementation. Is MC adding quartz ore, if so how does this affect you?
MC is indeed adding quartz, it has been confirmed for a while now. However, the ore will be in the Nether, not the overworld, unlike ME's quartz.

When 1.5 Comes out, there will be a number of changes to the recipes, I plan on taking advantage of nether quartz, but I also plan on changing Quartz added by my mod into a new resource, That's about all I can say at this time.
Its probably a block conflict, so you probably just need to adjust the config to use a block id, there are plenty of tutorials for this if you've never done it before.
I just wanted to let you know that I ran into a block ID conflict. I added this to my local copy of the Direwolf20 FTB mod pack, and block ID's 901 and 902 conflicted with ones from the Steve's Cart mod. I don't know if that was the default for Steve's Cart or if the FTB team moved it there, but it might come up at some point. I moved the IDs to 897-899 in my local config to get around it and that fixed the conflicts.
Interesting mod; I look forward to experimenting with it.
After playing a little bit in my World with it i have some suggestions:
1. Please add a recipe to combine lower tier Storage Cells to make bigger on! (Bunch of 1k Storage)
2. Show the stored Energy Units in the Controller and maybe the units/tick its receive.
3. Add the NEI >?< Feature to the Crafting Terminal
4. Maybe add a easy way to send Encoded Pattern to the Assembler Chamber (My Chamber is far away in the basement)
//edit:
It would be a dream if can use the NEI >?< in the ME Pattern Encoder
1. You can take them apart by holding them in your hand and shift right licking so you can take them apart and upgrade them.
2. You can usually measure what it receives using other mods that provide the power such as TE or IC2, it will tell you its draw tho, I might get back to doing a 'units stored' eventually.
3. I'm probably going to look into adding this.
4. you can use pipes / tubes or a network or something, it works via automation of any type.
The import bus (haven't tried any others) stops checking an inventory at the first item it cannot take. if the inventory contains for example: Import item 1 , non-import item, import item 2 the second item that can be imported will not get pulled. This is more of a inconvenience/refinement point.
I am trying to import networked items from a catch-all chest where I dump my items for sorting.
Congratz! Direwolf finally did a spotlight! now your mod should get way more attention, been waiting... IMO no mod is more deserving but after lurking all around i can understand why he was waiting for more balance etc... (even though im sure more is to come) anyways still using the mod and have had no problems thus far. still eager for more!!!
Since there is rumblings about azanor dumping Thaumcraft 3 you just made my top spot for must have mod please dont lose motivation.... we are all counting on you lol!!!!

At the moment no, but I'll see what I can do for helping with this in rv9, maybe an option or something.

Thank you very much. I will have to remember that for future use.

This would be a block ID conflict, this is not a bug, you just need to change the config so they don't conflict anymore.
