There are some edge cases I've not fully tested yet (especially dealing with the /nick command and how it operates with MCPermissions) but it should be better than the previous ones. Please test and let me know if this is any improvement for you. You can now give arbitrary groups individual command permissions. Note that /nick has two permission nodes, necessities.nick.self and necessities.nick.others. The self one lets a user set his/her own nickname, while the others one lets them change for other people as well.
Sorry for the delays, had a medical situation come up that I had to deal with and just sort of got distracted dealing with it. Cheers!

0.6.6 fixed the bug on my server when it was saying an unknown error occurred. Not only that; but all Permissions seem to work perfectly with MCPermissions. Great update.
Do you have any plans to implement Player to Player teleporting? Similar to the /tpa, /tpaccept, and so on? Anyways, just wanted to thank you for the update.

I certainly do. One of the first things I tried was to redo the /tp command so that it worked across dimensions. It will be a few days before I get around to this though as I've had some RL stuff come up that might keep me a bit busy.
Hello, i was wondering why the mod made the brackets at a players name going wierd, when i type something in chat it comes out as:
>Syranita<: Hello this is a test.
Also can you make a /clearEntities
If you do not have a nickname then the brackets show up that way. As soon as you set a nick name it will reverse.
I'm not sure what you mean about /clearentities. I plan to have something to remove items that are left on the ground (i.e. after a buildcraft pipe overflow) and also a /butcher command to kill mobs within a certain area.

Indeed there is. I just have to get fancy and figure out how to make that darned github thing work
If you can refer me to a good guide on it I'm fairly sure I can figure it out. I've used SCCS systems before - I'm just brand new to git (except to retrieve source). I've wanted to get the source up there and use a build system of some kind for a while, just haven't done it.
Something else I plan to do is do a comprehensive write up on modding Minecraft using Forge. I realize that this might be of no use to anyone, but it will help me verify that I understand things.
Thank you for your new Ver 0.6.6!
I try.it work for Sign [ ]
But new problem is....I am chineses...
In 0.6.5 I can use Chinese Nick
In 0.6.6 I just can use NickValidCharacters for I config ...can't use no set Character...
I'm sorry to cause you trouble. And Thank's a lot for this mod.

No problem! I can make an option to enable the character set from the config file. That way if it's not enabled you can use any characters that are valid, and if it is set you can limit them

I think a lot of people would be appreciative of that and could benefit from it.

I have choosen not to use nicknames on my server, i love your mod for a couple of commands (Seen, Drain, Motd, ListOps and Meminfo) all the other functionalities are disabled.
Is there anyway you can do a check on something like "If nick == disabled then use normal brackets"
If not i will properly be able to live with it. The brackets just seems so wierd hehe.
Just added a config file option to do this very thing. Won't be released for a day or two, but will be in the next update
Thanks a lot for this mod. I was looking for a way to add warp functionality to my server. I really like how you implemented it with personnal homes and shared warp points. Very nice!

Glad to help! I wrote it for my own use with the server here in the house and thought it might be helpful for others too. Glad it is working well for you!

I am trying to start learning Java myself to code some mods for my own server and this would be so awesome that words couldn't describe.

It will definitely take time to do it, but I think it'll be worthwhile in the long run. Modding isn't hard, but the people who write forge change the code without warning and sometimes you have to adapt pretty quickly. There's also an incredible lack of documentation which just makes the problem worse since the main guy who maintains it thinks documentation (even tutorials) are "unnecessary". When I get something i'm happy with I'll post a link on the main page and go from there
Anyone know the permissions that will work for tp?
I don't think there are any. /tp is a built-in command and despite many attempts, I cannot seem to replace it. If I figure out a way I'll make sure it has a permissions node and work across dimensions though.

Awesome. If you are working on tp, can you add tpa, tpaccept and tpdeny too?
Updated the page and the download links... or you can download 0.6.6 from here

Will do, shouldn't be any extra work to speak of. Next build will be 1.4.7 though.
