Yup. Happens to me All. The. Time. Normally when maids in freedom mode wander past their zone of operation, they teleport back into it. For some reason half the time they end up teleporting inside solid rock (or dirt or ...). I've seen this happen even in maids that are set to follow me (escorter, non-freedom fencer/archer, etc.), when I get too far and they teleport to me, they sometimes teleport into solid blocks. I've also seen it happen where if a maid is standing rather close to a wall when I quit the game, the next time I come back into the game she sometimes appears partially embedded into the walls and starts getting hurt. I've taken to giving my maids a metric crapton of sugar and whenever I hear one of them spamming the "pain" sound I whip out the shovel/pickaxe and start digging like crazy.
I wonder if we could get the author to add a check to teleporting? Either "check destination for solid blocks" or "if suffocating, continue teleporting till clear". Millenaire uses something similar; a villager will teleport out immediately if they get stuck in a block, such as while building.
You could also use their attraction to sugar to help maneuver them. Any following maids will come right up to you if you're holding sugar. Might help with keeping them close while traveling.
I've also seen them sort of "sink" into the floor as they're walking, and also they tend to have trouble climbing up blocks (they sort of sit there and hop around, I have to really work at it to get them to climb up). Seems to happen a lot more with the latest version (LMM 1_5_1-2, MMMLib 1.5.1-4).
I'm pretty sure that's actually Minecraft and not the mod. It's part of the whole "single player is a local server" thing. You can see it happen to vanilla mobs as well. And the climbing up blocks bit is a pathfinding issue also in vanilla minecraft, you see it happen a bit more with faster mobs. Watch a panicking pig, cow, or sheep. You'll notice the similarities.
I've edited (most of) the elsa 3 model's textures. I've been working on them on and off since 1.4.7-ish. I've made a little album of them if anyone wants to take a look, give me some feedback, etc. http://imgur.com/a/pVWxE

They look great! Love the translucent details.
Thanks everyone for helping each other out. Falcon you are the Man!
Um, hello again, was wondering if someone that views the Japanese Minecraft Forums could see about getting ahold of a copy of the Figua mod for 1.5.1 for me? I know this is not the place to ask, but I really don't know where else to ask honestly since I can speck Japanese and Translators work for absolute ****. :\
Thanks for that and no problem.
And I thank the people who help when I'm not around.
If you go this post: http://forum.minecra...tart=640#p12476
Open up the third spoiler box, it will have all the previous versions of MMM's mods (the filenames in there are in english) figua is a little bit down on the list.
The zip goes in the mods folder.
The mod needs MMMLib.
I can also upload a zip file with the latest files for 1.5.2 (or another version) if you want.
Thank you so very much!!! ~♥
Also, does anyone know if there is a updated version of the Beverly multi-model textures for the littlemaids? I just simply love them. >w<
the original japanese page says 1.5.2 now, so its updated right?
I myself thought the same thing upon seeing the 1.5.2 bit there. After some browsing I figured out that it's actually the Library portion of the mod, the MMMLib mod and a few of the other related mods that have been brought up to 1.5.2. The actual LIttle Maid Mod itself is still just in 1.5.1 only. So that appears to mean the modder has updated some of the mods upon which LIttle Maid Mod is depending, but not the mod itself.
At least as near as I can tell. : / *Wishes I could read Japanese*

For some reason, all maids spawn with the exact same (grey skirt, brown hair) skin. Both those spawned by eggs, and randomly in the world. What could be the cause of this? The default texture setting is blank in the .cfg.
Also, I feel like all the sound files are cut off just a split second too early, so the sound ends abruptly and unnaturally.

Actually that is the default, unless you have the PlayerFormLittleMaid "share my models with littleMaidMob" module installed. It's up to you to change her looks using dyes.
If you do have the PlayerFormLittleMaid model sharing thing installed, then there's something wrong; check your configuration, etc. etc.
I am getting a new personal modpack ready to play, and I thought it would be nice to have those things around. Better yet, to control one of then.
My problem is not LittleMaid mod - I got it working just fine. My problem is always with PlayerModelLittleMaid. I decided to take a 1.5.1 copy of Minecraft to test JUST the mods, and nothing else - as the mods I choose for my modpack are from 1.5.2. The thing is, as soon as I place the main file from PlayerModelLittleMaid into it, I either get a black screen from start, or I open the game, but the a server shutdown as soon as I hit to start a map.
I use forge, and I do understand you need the FML add-on with the original file, plus the ModchuLib. I tried with all the files and without, and I am still far from understanding what should be a give: what are the files actually needed for the PlayerModelLittleMaid to work after all?
EDIT: One nice night of sleep and all is working properly. I even managed to make the modpack work as (close as) I intended. Now, to tweak config files and edit textures!
Is there a way to get the tall maid for the 1.4.7 version? Other then that i love this mod!
Thanks
~Death
I *think* (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) that you need to install PlayerFormLittleMaid, which comes with an extension that lets LittleMaidMob load in all the additional model files, then you put the additional maid model .zip files into your minecraft/mods directory. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, if it is possible to get additional maid models with vanilla LMM without having to install PFLM I would like to know this)

ok i checked and no its not compatible
Confirmed , is not compatible ,but MMMLib is compatible, maybe the update in a few weeks.
In 1.5.1, crash when I use a book, anyone feels the same?
Also, I feel like all the sound files are cut off just a split second too early, so the sound ends abruptly and unnaturally.
