I was having some trouble trying to figure out a way out for all these new tracks I figure of the old system but these new ones made a lot of issues I can't seem to get the cross checks to work like these to so much the problem. So I had to do all kinds of fancy tricks to get these new tricks that it wouldn't wish he was more ranges in different sizes of these tracks event coming up and did anyone else have proved point is that the new track.

I have found a very interesting rendering bug. When used they're up to one knee something tracks it creates a FPS draw. And I feed. This might help the development and bug tracking 1.7

I would expect a 1.7.10 or 1.8 (if we are lucky) version not 1.7.2 and I imagine at first no new trains but very soon after a beta version.

There is no cauldron or similar server soft for 1.8. And not will be soon because of all this **** with DMCA. All mods now are stopped at 1.7.10.
This DMCA stuff is all about bukkit not anything else and should have little to no impact on what most modded servers run which is Forge. Also from my understanding of what happened, it was pretty much just a big mis-understanding and mis-communication.
And I say 1.8 because rewriting a mod takes a long time and even more so when the mod in question is as big as Traincraft or Railcraft.
i have to ask,can you use mods with cables to power electric locos?
As far as I know, there is no way to use cables to power electric locomotives, but most major mods have electrical storage items can be placed in the electric loco end be used as fuel such as the IC2 batteries and UE batteries(not entirely sure tho)

Now is no other alternative, but Cauldron is no more advance behind 1.7.10. So in near perspective there will be no multiplayer mods-plugins server based on 1.8
But Traincraft is a forge mod and has almost nothing to do with Bukkit, Cauldron or anything else. You are talking about server plugins wheres this is a mod and yes there is a difference. You can test this your self, set up a vanilla client and join that new cops and crims server or some server that has some sort of mini-game or trade system and connect to it. Now try and connect to say the traincraft server with your vanilla client and see if you can connect, if you can then I'm stupid and should shut my mouth or you have things a little off.

It is just silly to think that any orders to seize and assist on code would actually affect the mod commuting just because DMCA does it mean the mod will just stop and just to give you a news update there is an actual working version of Cauldron for last version of forge 1.7.10. So if you think that the essential kit component for mod you're wrong and at this point sponge is the next level of bukkit. I would also like to remind people that 1.8 forge is not out yet so thinking about the future is a little bit far-fetched at this point.

I was re-reading MrBrutal's blog entry from August 3rd earlier. He states that adding more trains is always another bullet point on the list of goals.
I have no problem with that, that's what the mod is about. I am in no massive rush for anyone to add new engines or new cars. More trains are always good, but I enjoy what stuff we have already. What I want to know is will every car and engine be paintable? We have freight and passenger cars that already are, but the majority of freight cars can't be changed.
I know this is something I could do myself by altering the texture files (I admit I tweak some for my own uses and do not distribute), but then that changes every dark red boxcar to a different color. But they're still all the same color. It'd be slightly different if I could assemble a train that's pulling BNSF boxcars next to Milwaukee Road boxcars and so-on.
Practically, it would assist us load-haulers in keeping track with what items can be expected to be in each car. Maybe I want a shipment of iron in a UPRR boxcar, and a shipment of IC2 Uranium in a BNSF car and so on.
Don't know where you heard that bukkit isn't updating to 1.8, Dinnerbone himself is doing the update to 1.8, https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/status/502389963606867968. I am expecting that TC will be on 1.7, I'm just saying your gonna have to wait a while, long enough that 1.8 might be out and be the version everyone's on.
