well, good. will it work with minecraft v1.7.10? it crashes with v1.7.2, but i can't find any sources to confirm that it will work with newer versions of minecraft.
Hello. I'm new to Traincraft and I have a question. I am trying to make an electric trolley, but when I place the ingredients in the assembly table , the end result does not show up. Will someone please tell me what I am missing? Thanks.

If Minecraft were real, you'd be a zombie right now.

If you have everything needed then you most likely have a item ID conflict. One way to find out is to check the config for the Item ID in the the traincraft config, then load up a world and search in NEI for that ID and it should give you the item that that ID is connected to that ID. If it isn't the one you want then find the config for the item that is taking the ID and change it. Item ID range is from 4096 to 32768.
Maybe you should check your facts, the old numeric system is still in place and in use as of 1.7.10 for mods at least, the new alphabetic system is in place (mostly) but not in use. Changing a ID system like they are takes a lot of time and work and can't be done in one go otherwise you can cause a lot of problems.

Oo... show me one mod where user need to change blocks/items IDs in order to avoid conflicts with another mod in 1.7.x enviroment :).

I don't know many mods that you must as most mods use forge which is to some extent auto assigning ID's for blocks/items. First example of a vanilla block with a numeric ID
second example of a mod with numeric ID
Just because you can install mods willy nilly doesn't mean what you hope.
You clearly have no idea about what we are talking about :). I'm not going to write about technical mambo jumbo here because from players point of view internal things doesn't matter ( ID map per world ). What are you showed is only NEI view of IDs. You can't even "/give" items using IDs - you need to write names. You will not find single block/item ID in config files - and this is what we are talking about :).
Quote from Mumrha73»Hi, Ive tried to use this mod with ATLauncher and the pack reasonanr rise but, when I launch the game with this mod enabled, the game go back to the ATL start page.
Here is the log I get:

Im newbie in Minecraft. How can I solve this?
Looks like you added 2x TC to pack;
Found a duplicate mod TC at [**USERSDIR**\Instances\ResonantRise\mods\traincraft-4.2.1_011.jar, **USERSDIR**\Instances\ResonantRise\jarmods\traincraft-4.2.1_011.jar]
The fact that there is a number at all means that the numeric system is still there and in use, not to mention that jeb and lexmanos have said that the numeric system is still going to be used until 1.8. You bring up that you can't use the numeric ID of a block with the give command, obviously mojang have created a alphabetic alias for the numeric ID's, it isn't to hard to do. Think of it as running windows on a Mac, it looks like a Mac but its really running Windows under the hood, same system, different skin if you like. Also 1.7 was the biome update, if you know anything about developing a game like MC then you should realise that you can't rework 2 massive systems like the ID and biome systems. ID systems in particular have to be done over several updates otherwise you will end up with more issues then it worth.
Doesn't matter how blocks are stored internally, what matters is that players no longer need to resolve ID conflicts as of 1.7 - you can't change single block/item ID even if you want.
Edit:
And just because I feel that you will not stop to argue have this LexManos:
But no, you as a modder, as a player, as any of that should not give a single **** about ids it is ALL taken care of by Minecraft/FML.
I would like to use this mod in a private mod pack for my private server. It seems like a cool mod but its very buggy and not very compatible with other mods. Mainly railcraft.

@senrix: I think no. Forge is required. But you can use bukkit plugins with forge on the Cauldron (mcpc+ before):

Config manipulation is a basic survival skill, go and change IDs by yourself :).
This is why i can't wait for the 1.8 update for MC, this sort of thing will be a thing of the past.

This is already the past as of 1.7 ^^.
